Awful. Poor team selection, poor organisation, poor tactics. We had 10 players doing their best plus Deacon. First goal looked a yard offside & will be interesting to see the highlights. Wouldn't have affected the final result.

I wasn't there so cannot comment on the game itself but what I can say is that things will not change this season. We have 5 games to go and I fully expect us to lose all of them. It is no longer about this season, that is dead and gone, its about the 3 summer months and they could be the 3 months that make or break this clubs future.Good recruitment and a quick learning curve for George could pay big dividends next year,on the downside we could be scrapping to avoid another drop. I don't think we will but we cannot ignore the possibility. I know I am in a minority of people that are glad we have gone down but that is just a selfish point of view as next season I can go to some away games but I hope for you lot, your sanity, that we can bounce back again.

It's a far more valid point of few than the half a dozen toxic wankers in the Genco with their banner and their chants of sack the board. Judging by some of the conversations I had after the game it was firmly pointed out to them that their views don't reflect the majority of supporters and that maybe they should take their support elsewhere.

Nearly 1500 at Chatham today, I wonder how many of our glory hunters will turn up there next season

Absolute joke. Manager who claims to be a motivator and portrays as a nice guy who loves the badge dropping players after alleging backing them, firing staff ab players callously - including a fans favourite - and yet completely unable to motivate a team which has his own signings in it to a draw let alone a win. Oh, not to mention the loanees he hasn’t even played but who warm the bench. Also he was a centre back and yet we have the most shambolic defence in the league. To top it all we have owners who wanted to sell up still in charge. The club is a shambles and the Clown days are well and truly back. That’s me done for this season and maybe next until something significant changes. In terms of communication to fans the club is either silent or double minded - saying one thing and doing another. I have lost total respect for the whole club. Hopefully next year George will have got his act together enough or we will have new owners so that it’s not a double drop with an average gate below 1000. Yes this is moan moan moan because it’s bad bad bad and Luque being dumped was the final straw. What has happened to my club? Double drop. Behave. This season was over months ago. George is just limping to the end. Take it as a grown up and have a beer and see you next season. Glad I got that off rant off my chest. Yes you are all right the bubble is well and truly burst and I just need to have a beer and complete rest from the Gallagher until next season to get my faith back. However unless some changes dramatically I still think the double drop is something that is very possible and shouldn’t be poo poked just because we are Maidstone United. Anything can happen and only time will tell.Adios amigos unless something significant happens to comment upon and have a great summer.

Well, that was fun. Still, at least we're down now - it's been like waiting for the other shoe to drop.
But what a total shambles. Boys v men. We played some nice tippy-tappy football at times - until the BW thugs did their thing (the thing that the ref never noticed). What a bunch of utter bastards - especially their no 2 - should have been locked up. But no chance of ever scoring (even with Ashmore at his most random), and their no 15 running past our defence whenever he fancied. Utter, utter, tosh. Painful to watch. No desire to see any more of this season, just want it to be over.
I like George and I want him to do well, but please no more of this shite. No one should be expected to pay to watch this.
And just how many of the few decent players we've got left will be here next season? My guess is absolutely none - last season utterly wasted. George is going to have to rebuild from scratch. Can he do it? Let's just hope so. But I wouldn't put any of Sword's money on it.
And what the sweet fúcking Ada is going on in the boardroom? Do they care? Are they even there??
Totally fúcking pissed off.

1774 given as the attendance, so am guessing it is actually a few less than that - or have all the ST holders turned up for once? Looked about right - a bit thinner than Woking and with many fewer away fans. Fewer gaps than usual in the MS, Genco quite thinly populated, not too many in the TE or round the pitch (but then it was quite cold). Take away the surprisingly large number of BW away fans, and you're down to almost 1,700 - which I'm pretty sure is our lowest Saturday attendance in years. I guess that quite a few turned up hoping we might play like we've done for the last few games, and maybe even go 'out' with a bang. But I can't see them coming back. I don't know the ST numbers - over 600 for sure, but I'm not sure how much over. But we could find out soon - because that's the only people they'll be counting. Maybe the lack of money coming in from the gate and the concessions will wake the Board up? Not holding my breath though.

Totally fúcking pissed off. Careful JDL I expressed the same sentiments and got told me to behave! Todays result and performance capped it all. Total embarrassment. The rest of our games are so irrelevant we should just play the reserves for the experience and the current players should all just Jack it in and take early holidays before they seek new clubs. George needs to go with them all the use he is for these games. Yes indeed totally effing pissed off.

Interesting comparison with Dulwich today, who also lost 4-0, including early, soft goals apparently. Post match interviews with Hak and George are on YouTube. Same old same old from both of them, I'm afraid.

In fairness, they were both away, against the 2nd and 3rd placed teams.
