Just as well George does the motivational team talk. Listening to some of you and they wouldn't bother to turn out. Yep it’s certainly working isn’t it…………….

The players know they are down, relegated, but they are not allowed to say so in public, its not the done thing. Any player that truly believes we can stay up is either very stupid or has the middle name Jesus.

Its George's job to get the players in a positive mind set and belief.
If Sword was responsible for the mental health and attitude of our players we would lose 0-10 every match.

I firmly believe that one league win will lead to others. When, and then how many, is another matter, but for the he sake of club income, it needs to happen. Fans' reaction to us scoring says it all. We are very short of things to celebrate this season, so there is joy in every success, however limited.

Def right ! We made need some devine intervention on the way but some belief wouldn't go amiss just at present. Getting pleasure from performances, decent defending, winning free kicks and corners, good tackling, shots on goal and even the occasional point. Thats whats it all about now. On the other hand we can all agree with sword and not bother supporting the team at all.

And he's doing a good job but you cannot climb Everest in a pair of addidas football boots and whether you like it or not Everest is what we are facing not Bluebell Hill.

You don't have to agree with me and I've never at any time said you should but you know deep in your heart that I am right. I am not sure whether that last sentence is a little dig at my lack of attendance at games this year but if it is I can inform you that my health is improving and like Arnie "I'll be back". Oh and whilst we are at it I was the first person to say give George the job and an extended contract as I am convinced he is the man for the job,if that's not support then what is it?

We're winning at home" What kind of message does that send to the players.

Other relegation battered supporters do it too. Doesn't make it right but its just a bit of dark humour to help us get through the season.

It annoyed me at first. But now we’re almost certainly doomed it’s fair enough. If the players don’t want to hear it, win a few games and fight for survival. I’ve been asked to walk in with several unaccompanied kids these past few weeks. God knows why they keep coming, but they’ve earned the right to a little dark humour.

I like George and haven’t decided myself if he is right for next season and his positivity is definitely an inspiration for the players. However, this must be balanced with constructive criticism best conducted in private rather than the public Hak route. The reason for this post is the positivity about the performance of TT Walters on Tuesday. I personally thought he was dreadful and offered little going forward and was a real weakness in defence. Their goal came down his side. It’s unfair to judge him on one game out of position but I was surprised to say the least when the post match interviewer of George also expressed the view TT had a really good game. Now a KOL article says the same. It’s great that this builds belief but it worries me that all the positivity actually masks inability because no one wants to talk negatively. Of course it might just be me and maybe he had a great game. Everyone is an expert about football after all! Be interested to see what others thought but I don’t think he is good enough and certainly not at left back. I thought the team as a whole on Tuesday played worse than in the defeats to Eastleigh and draw with Gateshead and when I looked across the team I thought it was a downgrade on the starting elevens we had last year and most of this. Sorry to be negative 🤐

I thought TT Walters did okay on Tuesday night but probably because we were only playing Scunthorpe. He had a loan spell at Tonbridge this season and hardly got in their team and then the same at Herne Bay who are relegation certs in the Isthmian Premier. Not good enough!
