All I keep hearing is, this player is shit so is that one and that one is really shit. But they wasn't shit last season in fact most had great seasons. So it's as simple as, this level is too high for their abilities and that isn't their fault. But just like cannon fodder they get sent out every week when everyone knows there is little chance of any points. The first nail in the coffin was when we didn't learn the lessons from our last time in the national League when we didn't or couldn't bring in five or six seasoned national league or league two players in. The final nail in the coffin was when the takeover negotiations broke down because every week makes any investment to late! On the plus side next season this squad are going to have a great season again in the national south plus better beer sales. 🍻🍻

Not forgetting those nice and easy to get to away grounds and more mixing with rival supporters. Can't wait !

And closer away games! Although we could still be playing Torquay...
I'm not sure our problems are as simple as LRS makes out.
After all, we had a pretty good start. Despite our defeats against Wrexham and bloody Dorking, in the first eight games, we won three and drew two - which is an average of 1.375 points per game, which would put us safely upper-mid table. And that was without several key players.
And then, when Binnom-Williams came back and (I think) Greenidge joined, between the end of October and late November, we had a spell of 2 wins and 3 draws in just six games - an average of 1.5 ppg, which would almost get us into the play-offs on the current table.
Same players (more or less), but different results, so I don't think you can say that "this level is too high for their abilities". Without the injuries and Hak's problems with the players, that team/squad could have kept us up fairly easily.
Imagine that squad without Hak's problems and with Luque - I don't think we'd have too many people moaning.
