Only one gripe from Saturday. The club knew how many fans would be at the game as it was all ticket yet it didnt increase the catering. Queues ridiculous at half time etc. It meant many of us didnt bother and the club lost income. Might be a good idea to have a van at the Genco end again when we know crowds will be 3,000+?

In fairness, football match catering is one of those nightmare logistics things because you get short high peaks and then longer times when demand is much less. Also, it's almost impossible to estimate how much food you need to have/prepare, how many staff you need, etc - you can get sales varying by huge amounts with almost identical gates. Things like the weather, the way the teams are playing, the result of the game (grumpy, pissed off fans don't tend to buy pies or even stay on for a beer) are also almost impossible to factor in.
It undoubtably could be done better, though - especially re the Genco.

Another thing that bugs me, as ST holder, is the ST gates being ST AND cash! One of the reasons for getting a ST is to be able to get in quickly without queuing for ages - the very last thing you want is someone paying bloody cash in front of you!

Sack the board, Manchett out! It wasn't a real gripe, Sword. I've been through that gate several times and you are pretty much straight through. I think the real thing you were supposed to note is the holding of a season ticket.
