Big game coming up, 2nd v 3rd, a win would put us 7 points clear of Oxford with a game in hand. Going 2-1 with 2500 in attendance with rain forecast, maybe 50 from Oxford.

I will take a leaf out of JDL's book and go for 4-0 with a crowd put off by the weather of 2250.

Oxford are no push-overs and look set to claim a place in the play-offs. Expect a very competitive match. As long as Hak can get the team up for it and players perform as they can, Stones will hopefully get 3 points. Going for 2-1 home win in front of around 2,375.

Swordy is getting a bit ott with his optimistic forecasts eg v Mangles Saturday will be a tough match and if we nick it by one goal, you get the same points. Just have a feeling that our winning home run may just hit the buffers. Going for 1 - 1, but hoping for better.

At the risk of stating the bleedin obvious, beat Oxford and it’s just us and Dorking. Beat Dorking and our destiny is in our own hands. Fail to beat either, and it’s a tough old scrap to the end of the season. I trusted Hak when things were going wrong, and I trust him and our players now.
Maidstone win, attendance 3001.

Oxford will soon discover that winning University Challenge is easier than beating the behemoth, that is Maidstone United. 3-1 will be the numbers associated with their defeat

Oxford have the best away record in the league (except for us who we don’t play away!). The only defeat away for them was at Dorking a couple of weeks back. They seem to prefer away rather than home.

I’m impressed how Oxford have stayed in the hunt. I think this could be a tough one. Need to score first. If we do, a tight win.

Let's hope everything is properly nailed down at the G. Storm Eunice looks a nasty piece of work that could have a say in what goes on around the country.

Sounds like a few supporters have the jitters about Saturday. No need. The Uni town boys will well and truly meet their match. Hak will get the Black and Amber team fired up to crush Oxford's hopes. Out of sight by half--time (3-0) expect the Stones to romp to a 4-1 win. Goals to be shared around with contributions from Sam, Joan, Regan and Jack. Happy days at the Gallagher. Not such a happy drive home for Oxford supporters in their mini-bus.

Looking back over their results, they've definitely been found out here and there against the current top 7: 2 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses. 8 points taken from the top 7 from a possible 22.
Compared to our record against the current top 7: 5 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses. 16 points taken from the top 7 from a possible 24. Worth noting that both our losses and the draw came during our bad spell back in October.
Huge game. Would happily take a win against Oxford and a draw against Dorking at this point.
