Alfie Pavey's loan to Dover extended for another month. Seems to have done pretty well in a struggling team.

Would have thought they would bring him back for cover as he's done well in the National league with a struggling team.

Would have thought they would bring him back for cover as he's done well in the National league with a struggling team. Having just signed Bettamer on a month's loan there would be no point. From what I can tell they are similar in stature and style. The fact Hak decided to loan-in another striker rather than bring Pavey back might suggest he doesn't want to keep Alfie - we'll see.

Why does the club keep signing these on loan players when none rarely or ever get used ?

Why does the club keep signing these on loan players when none rarely or ever get used ? It’s a squad game, ours isn’t big and we need cover when players are missing

Quite right. If we lost another midfielder we have a problem. We also need a fresh pair of legs on the bench and who knows he may be a very good prospect. Our game requires high energy players so better a young man who is trying to make an impression then a an old pro loaned out to get fit following an injury.

Agree it's the right sort of signing at this stage of the season. Fresh legs, quality, energy, it's all going to be needed.

Not really The loan players will probably be used to benefit the squad in the short term not long term. Just to boost numbers and help the team get over the line.

Johl Powell Hak lands another loan signing from Charlton. A 21 year old, box to box midfielder. Def strengthening the squad for the run in with good looking signings.

Remember Aaron Simpson, the youngster who impressed us so much at right back? He went to Wolves, but it appears he didn’t make the grade. According to my roofer who was replacing tiles on my roof this morning (and who used to play for Fulham, but I don’t know at what level), he was last seen on Love Island! That’s a handbrake turn of a career move!
