What’s struck me particularly about our sides over the last 5 years is how naive we are
it’s been evident in most games that the opposition is consistently more professional (aka snide) than us
on Saturday their manager White was in the refs ear straight after the teams walked out & their players were demanding a red the minute George stepped up to the ref
Hampton, Concord & Dartford in particular were the same
We need to get more involved in the dark arts

Sad but true. At times it seems we are the only side who don't cheat. The last time I can remember was when Worgan got that Sutton player sent off and that was years ago. Really don't like the idea, but there are some areas where we need to be a bit more savvy.

Agree . We are naive to the point of being stupid.
Visiting sides always manage the officials better than us.

Dulwich players were haranguing the ref after every decision he gave against them and were trying to get our players booked or sent off.

sounds like the Hungerford players played their part in getting Booty sent off today There should be an observer at each match and if the players are out of order then the club should be fined or docked points after all the club is ultimately responsible for its employees actions. The players put too much pressure on a ref and an independent observer could study videos at leisure after the game.

Always a player you'd rather have with you than against. Wouldn't hurt to have a couple like him in the squad, players who know how to wind the opposition up and influence referees. I hate to say this, but playing fair gets you nowhere these days. If we're gonna compete we're gonna have to be as nasty as the likes of Concord, Hungerford etc.

Indeed, with a baying home crowd and a bit of bite, others side might think twice about winding us up so often

Indeed, with a baying home crowd and a bit of bite, others side might think twice about winding us up so often Although that can work the other way. There've been plenty who've enjoyed getting a reaction from the crowd, and there are more than a few in the main stand who are more than happy to give them exactly what they want.
