Lovely jubbly ! A very poor first 45 minutes with Stones lucky to be losing 1 - 0.Honestly the team looked slow, unfit and pretty hopeless. What a turn round, totally different second 45 minutes. What we lacked in the first half, suddenly appeared and blew HH away. Just a shame about Hs 2nd, down to poor defensive cover in front of the penalty box. But that was the only 2nd half blot. Good performances from Roarie Deacon, Regan Booty and Joan Luque helped big time. Alfie Pacey looked decent as well. But there was more urgency and geling everywhere. Some nice goals too. Encouraging to see the boys getting stuck in and properly competitive. Nice to hear the stadium buzzing, cracking atmosphere

I think Hemel gambled everything on that first half, especially the first 30 minutes. Not many teams could have lived with them and to only be 1-0 up at the break must have been a big disappointment for them. Fantastic second half and not many teams would have lived with us in that 45 minutes.

The noise when we scored was immense.
The game was a funny one. They played very well for a quarter and we lucked out when their 7 went off injured.
They were terribly square at the back in the second half but we wore them down I think.
We have strikers to come back so I reckon Hak did well with his selections and subs. We look to have some strength off the bench anyway.

Reckon sword must be sick as his rotten parrot. What a great afternoon down the Gallagher. Huge effort from the players to turn around a very iffy first half. Fantastic second half performance. So enjoyable. Deacon and Booty look very handy. Pacey worked hard to hold the front line together. And of course we have Luque. Football is back.

Great atmosphere today, enen when the team wasnt playing. When they played, wasnt it great. So noisy, too much for HH to cope with. This team will get our support 100%. Exciting match, so much to look forward to. COYS

So pleased for the kids. Two years of rubbish home education, not allowed to go out and meet friends, forced to wear masks. Now they get to experience the pure thrill of an exciting home win after ages not being able to attend.

Team performance seemed to change totally when Pattisson came on for Pavey up front. Pavey tried really hard to win and hold the ball, but was outnumbered and isolated. Pattisson was much more fluid and his movement exploited and exposed a tiring defence.

special mention to our physio, not sure what freak decided it’s okay in this day and age to have that kind of behaviour. Thought it was a great response from her.
Overall on the game though you could feel the emotion especially in some of the players and as others have mentioned the noise when that goal went in was superb!
Champions league here we come hehe…

We played too deep first half. Looked like Jake was told to sit in front of back four to protect it. This invited HH to just attack and attack again first half. Luque hardly got a pass with these tactics.
In a weird way it was good HH took the lead as it meant we had to be more positive and braver second half and trust our team's attacking abilities. It worked.
Great result and a great atmosphere!

Not every child is as fortunate, as you well know. Their generation will be paying the financial and social costs of Covid their whole lives. For some, this will have been the first proper social event for two years, a huge fraction of a young life. Let’s just be happy for them today.
