Whaddya think?
Shame we couldn't carry momentum from Saturday into another win Tuesday, but do we still think we can maintain the Welling plus points on Saturday?
Haks post match suggests he and the team have targets for what points they expect from what game so I wonder if they think this is a draw or a potential win?
I'd go for a 1-1.

Almost exactly 1 second before the ref blew for the pen on Saturday, I said "this is looking good, even we can't blow a 2-0 lead with less than 10 minuts to go".
So, I'm not predicting anything!

With George back to organise and berate those around him, plus Noah at full back and Wishart further up front, the side should have a more balanced look about it. Suspect Johnson and Allen will make way, and be on the bench, alongside Takh. So even if Okanbi is not back yet, we will be putting out our strongest side since before Chippenham. On paper anyway. As to whether that equates to a win, who knows?

But you were right, we didn't blow a 2-0 lead. Be honest, apart from the pen, did Welling ever look remotely like scoring?

It's not as if we've always done well against weaker teams this season...

Saturday is going to be a great day. A hobble along the seafront , a lungful of sea air, fish and chips, ice cream and beer. We will win, maybe not comfortably but we will win.

How are you getting there, Sword? This was going to be one of my few aways, but no coach, so no game for me. Trains aren't too bad, but we'd be home after 8, so that's no good for me.

Train from Tonbridge, change at St Leonard's. Journey 1hr 20mins £11.30 return with disabled card which is actually cheaper than the coach would have been.

Isn't the railway station about 5 miles from the ground? 4 miles but the Eatbourne loop bus service drops about 150 yards from the ground.
