I know we are segregated but does anyone know if we have any seating allocated to us, I've still got a f'd up leg and supposed to be resting it so not sure if i can get away with standing the whole game but if we have access to some seating I'd try and get over there. Have you tried contacting them?

Tbf i thought he was lucky to get booked, it spared him and us the pain of him playing 90 minutes. As I said in the Dorking thread, the criticism of Pennel is very harsh. He was trying to do Marshall's job as well as his own, and subsequently got caught too far upfield on occasions when Marshall was nowhere to be seen. Actually thought he was better than George on the day, and it was George's underhit pass that earnt him his first booking.

Agreed on Saturday but he looks so uncomfortable in general play that subconsciously I think it makes us fans see him as worse than he plays. Almost the opposite is true of George. He is so upbeat and positive that I think his dip in form has been largely unnoticed. After doubting his ability from the off, Johnson is actually the one player playing to his ability.

It seems to have coincided with his contretemps at Braintree, but that may just be a coincidence.

Fair enough George is going through a dip in form, we're not seeing MoM performaces at the moment, but together with Johnson they still make a strong pairing.

Hope John/Hakan allow Ross Marshall to play his tough tackling, disruptive, taking no prisoners, sort of game. He started so well and looked the real deal. I think JS said something on interview about Marshall having to rein it in after one or two sending offs and he hasn't been half the player since. Ross is good enough if he's allowed to be.

Pennel was truly shocking throughout and not for the first time this season. He is a liability in the squad imo, so many weaknesses. Poor positioning, poor tackling, poor heading, poor distribution, poor everything.

Well said Nick. There are a few others but Pennel is right up there with those who havn't delivered enough this season.

I’ll be surprised if Pennell starts today. I’m hoping Johnson is fit but otherwise expect to see Lewis Knight (groan) start. Not much of an improvement as his display at Wealdstone was one of the worst I’ve seen from a CB in recent times.
Still, let’s break our awful Kent derby record!
