What was that all about ? A disappointing performance hardly sums it up. Outplayed all over the pitch. Nobody comes out with any credit. If this was the time to demonstrate play off credentials, then we can forget about it. Is that why there is no option to vote for MotM on the OS match report?

How can you have a motm when we were so PATHETIC?

This is probably not a good time to note we are now well into September - a time when the Stones have a bit of a habit of starting a long streak without a win. Equally, our current management team are hopefully much better equipped to deal with it that previous seasons. Reading between the lines, it is not difficult to see that lack of consistency is very much to blame, along with not enough ability in midfield. A short unbeaten run does not make a promotion run make.

Teams will beat Dorking if they are able to put them under pressure, on the occasions we did that they looked decidedly iffy and worried at the back, but we didn't do enough of that and lost battles all over the pitch. Great report Porky - from an amateur bystander? Barrow won today!. Francoise sends regards COYS. Cheers mate, still look back with great fondness to that long day out in Cumbria and pleased that Francoise is continuing to provide a service to you ! COYS !

A fair enough quote from John Still after the match "RUBBISH" He talks about some players who will not be continuing on the journey as they are just not good enough to produce their quality on a consistent basis. I guess at least 2 players will get their marching orders soon enough but there's another couple who need to up their game too if they are to have any future with the club. No names needed, it is obvious enough. This is not a time to be complacent oldboy. Dorking is not exactly a big club and yesterday's performance is unacceptable. Embarrassing really, with no excuses. The dynamic duo need to take action now.

John Still should look at his own performance as well, ridiculous to get wound up into some ' grapple & groan ' with 30 seconds to go and 2 down ….

Having seen our display at Wealdstone I was hoping that kind of performance was a one off beaten by the better side, but yesterday shows perhaps it’s more part of our overall DNA as a team. Hopefully some decent replacements come in. Speaking to a Ryan Johnson on the sidelines during the second half he was not happy at what he was seeing to say the least from his stand in and fellow team mates

As and when I get the chance to have 'a personal word' with a Maidstone player, I don't think I would name him and publicise the gist on social media. Maybe a bit indiscreet of Ryan but not really fair imo to communicate it to a wider audience - I'm guessing hardly what RJ would have wanted. Discretion ? Sensitivity ? Tact ? Confidentiality ? Hang on a minute, this is hammerstone talking, perhaps not !

Shoot from the hip straight talking. Talking out your arse. Your always slagging the team off I wouldn’t say always. But that’s the beauty of a public forum

Should of said spend more money than most 50/50 fans who pick and chose support. I attend most games in the session home and away and spend a fair wedge hence why I, or anyone else who has a similar commitment have a right to be annoyed with what they are served up on occasion. It’s easy being an armchair supporter!
