John still said we need at least 8 games or so to gel . After two games it looked doubtful but slowly and surely the team has started to look half decent. For me everything has gone to plan so far and long may it continue.

Havant on Saturday will be a good test. Having been found out at Wealdstone, we bounced back really well at Dulwich, though H&W will be a sterner challenge you'd think, especially as they are the only unbeaten team in our league. Overall though, few complaints. Attitudes are what JS/HH said they would be, likewise workrate. There is evidence of a bit of flair and confidence growing into the side, so if we can somehow sort out throw ins, corners and attacking free kicks, we should prosper.

More than happy, hopefully we can continue the way we are currently playing and if we lose a few games so be it as long as there is effort on show, that’s all I ask for and to be honest want

Definitely ahead of where I thought we'd be at this stage. Chelmsford showed we have a bit of flair about us and are quite capable of playing entertaining football. Dulwich showed we can win the attritional battles when maybe not playing quite as well. JS said if you do your job then you'll win more than you lose even when not at your best and Dulwich showed just how true that is.

For me the win at Dulwich is the start of our season because now the players know they can do it there no excuse for not doing it. Dulwich was a blood and thunder affair with tackles flying in left right and centre and to be honest I thought someone was going to get hurt, badly hurt. We have flair ,we have people who can score goals ,we have a defence that can defend and we have George whose clearnce in the first half has got NASA in a spin wondering what this new satellite is. Havant & Looneytuneville will be hard but I have seen enough to think we can beat them and our home hoodoo.
