I’m less concerned about the nudity and more worried I haven’t managed a cartwheel since 1976

We are improving as a team, the players are gaining confidence and getting to know each others games. Results are starting to come and compared to last season....we are already a million miles from that mess. My point is that things are really positive and getting better....these next games are tough and personally even if we lose against wealdstone, dulwich and havant I dont think that defines our season. I would still expect us to be in or near the playoffs by April. Having said that...I would be happy with one win out of the three....have a warm glow with a win and a draw out of the three and doing naked cartwheels with 6 points out of nine. Regardless of the results I would recommend doing the cartwheel(s) (naked or otherwise) while you're still able.

Captain George has been a great signing from John Still, his commanding presence at the back has helped to organise a very solod defence for the Stones Was it coincidence that Chelmsford equalised on Monday shortly after he left the field ? The problem is a reoccurence of a hamstring injury that doesn't want to clear up. Reports suggest George is going to be doubtful for the Wealdstone trip which is a shame to say the least.

Coming from someone who not so long ago described the Stones team as "a big pile of shite" but still managed to rate George above the rest, I don't find your post very encouraging.

But they were shite my dear boy but they are learning quickly. I thought Edward's was in the same class as Mullins/Quigley buthe is dloely showing signs of being a good player. Wssnt overly impressed with Khan but has put into games that are worthy of motm. In fact they have all improved amazingly quickly and unlike some others i am a bit of a Clovis fan,he isn't the real deal yet but give him time. I wanted no score Mclure the moment I saw him play against Southend and was disappointed when we didn't sign him but over the moon now. Yes I think we have enough without George and I did actually predict that 2 games in 3 days would be too much for him.

Quigley scored twice at the weekend for whichever team he plays for now.

To be honest it was pretty hard to judge our forwards last season considering the service they got. I thought Quigley was decent to be fair, and would have prospered if we'd a halfway decent midfield, but in the end frustration got the better of him and he just gave up. Mullings on the other hand never showed anything and you might as well have replaced him with a lamp post and hoped when you put a cross in that it hit him at the right angle.

Quigley scored twice at the weekend for whichever team he plays for now. No he didn't, came on as a 66th minute sub and probably never touched the ball.

It's quite simple, I read the scores in the paper, noticed Quigley scored twice, and promptly forgot whether it was Saturday or Monday or which team he now plays for. I've now checked on t'Internet, and it was Dagenham and Redbridge vs Yeovil on Monday.
