Yes mate or get off one stop earlier if you want to visit the spoons pub en route to the ground What’s the Spoons pub called Sword ? Is it far from t’ ground ? What’s their ground like, is it any good or a bit of a dump ? Spoons is called JJ Moons and the ground isn't too bad, the clubhouse is decent as well

Lovely clubhouse.

I’ve driven to Wealdstone, and taken the train, but neither for a year or two. What’s the best way to get there by train, eg Maidstone to Victoria, and then what, tube to West Ruislip ? Yes mate or get off one stop earlier if you want to visit the spoons pub en route to the ground Thankyou sir

I would like to pass on a warning i was given a short while ago. For those of you going to Ruislip Town centre there is a very good likelihood that you will run into the alcoholic phenomenon that is HAMMERSTONE.🤣🤣🤣🤣

On giving the 5th red card the match would be abandoned by the ref. Is that you, Pedant? The match has to be abandoned if a team cannot field a minimum of 7 players. I know from experience of travel difficulties having to start a game with just 7 of us waiting for the rest to arrive.
We managed to finish the game but unsurprisingly lost.

Whilst not wishing to bring up the subject of a 'panic button' again - but I have just done so, surely the next 3 games against 3 out of the current top 4 teams should define where we expect to finish this season. At the risk of hyperbole, should we garner a minimum of 5 points then we may feel relatively confident of at least a play-off place.

We are improving as a team, the players are gaining confidence and getting to know each others games. Results are starting to come and compared to last season....we are already a million miles from that mess.
My point is that things are really positive and getting better....these next games are tough and personally even if we lose against wealdstone, dulwich and havant I dont think that defines our season.
I would still expect us to be in or near the playoffs by April.
Having said that...I would be happy with one win out of the three....have a warm glow with a win and a draw out of the three and doing naked cartwheels with 6 points out of nine.

Draw at Wealdstone, a sneaky feeling we will win at Dulwich and hopefully only a draw with Havant to avoid your rash promise of unwanted nudity. All very possible, based on the last few games...…...not something we could have said in the summer or after PSF, so yes, great to see an improving trend!
