Sadly we are likely to vote a racist into power on Thursday along with a government that holds the electorate in total contempt This is my read of it as well. Gutted and barely recognise this country anymore we have surrendered to a populist xenophobic fear of the other as they deflect their failures from themselves. I can't believe we as a country are prepared to go again with this lot. They have doubled the national debt, caused record failure in the NHS inflicted misery and food banks into a social norm. Hidden from responsibility at every step. Our country has declined more under this shower than any other and they are determined to drag us down further, reducing our stature and wealth to help themselves. They are toxic and so will we be as a Country. We will have a prime minister with no original ideas of his own, a confirmed liar, someone who conspired to get someone beaten up a elitist narcissistic yob. Those who vote for him deserve everything they get. How did we allow ourselves to be so duped? Such a morale vacuum in Johnson and Cummings Et Al but it's a massive indictment on the others as well that the Tories aren't looking at years on the fringes for what they have and are doing. Why do we not have already to safeguard our democracy, appropriate standards in place to stop the duplicity and lies of politicians. No where else in industry can you get away with such blatant unadulterated deception. All parties seem to seeing Brexit as the main point of discussion (as dictated by the electorate I concede) when the real problems, to me, seem to be Climate Change and the lack of equilibrium between the rich and poor. This last point is by far the most important single issue for me. It links in to the NHS, housing, infrastructure etc. Problem is, everyone wants foodbanks to be unnecessary but no-one is willing to give up anything for the poorer in society.

I would argue for a tax system that makes our society fairer with a proper safety net (ie you don't lose everything the moment you lose your job). This would almost certainly mean greater sacrifice from everyone in a position to do so (ie more from the middle classes than Corbyn seems prepared to do). Alongside that I would support things such as cleaning hedgerows/streets etc etc if you were using that safety net (even though that is a Tory style ideal). It all adds to a decent society. We need to start recognising the importance of jobs. For instance I would rather have binmen than investment bankers yet their salaries are a world apart.

It doesnt matter whoever's wins will chew you up and spit you out so what is the point of boring yourself to death with pages upon pages of utter bullshit. And just to make my point totally clear the tory manifesto is undoubtedly full of bullshit the labour manifesto will doubtless be 10 times worse and I wouldn't insult my arse with the Lib dems manifesto. Who ever wins we are screwed up as a nation we had the chance to put things right and we blew it. This country is now destined for the toilet and my vote and your vote will make no f**king difference whatsoever so lighten up and stop taking things so damn seriously. So you won't bother voting then? After all it makes no difference and is all bull. I would love it if that little x you put in the box tomorrow made a difference but you are one of what 40million? It wont . You want to change things for the better then stand for parliament yourself I actually think you would make a good mp but till then your vote like mine will mean nothing.

I'm going to cross out one of the candidates, and replace them with Laura Kuenssberg. She's probably got more of an idea of how to run the country then any of the Wayne Kerrs that she has had the "pleasure" to interview over the last few weeks.

Absolutely ,tougher sentences for geography teachers and a right royal kick of the princes bum.

and this is from a bloke whose voting preference depends on who he thinks is the best shag ! Nick I am sorry but I cannot take this subject as serious as everyone else because I know whatever way I vote will make NO difference now if somebody said to me that my vote would be decisive vote as to who gets elected then maybe I would read all the manifestos but with a safe majority of about 20,000 my vote will mean sod all and so I do not see the point of being deadly serious like all those on this thread seriously think their vote will make a difference because they wont. Knowing every paragraph of 100's of pages of nonsense that each party will ignore once they are in is just pointless to the point of absurdity. Parliament have already proved that they will not listen to the voters otherwise Brexit would have been sorted months ago but it isntand the fact that all the people on this thread who take politics so seriously are all Remainers who would not except the vote of the majority however small. Tomorrow the Tories will win because there is no viable alternative ,I will not vote tory,i will not vote for Corbyn and the less said about the Lib Dems the better so I have a choice not to vote or vote for the one remaining candidate who is standing for the green party and if you saw her you would probably want to shag her.

One day if I have the time to devote. Every vote counts. There are at least nine constituencies where the majorities are less than 100. In North East Fife it is just 2.

There is a website on tactical voting, where you can put in your constituency and it suggests who is best if you don't want to vote Tory. As Sword says, a challenge in this county where my MP has a 10k majority and likewise most voted leave too.
