Lots of stories going around Pigott has a lot of interest from Championship clubs. With some time left on his current contract, does anyone know if we had any sell on % clauses? Some of the figures seen mention 250k+ and If we get a share of either the sell on, or profit from sale we could be in for a nice windfall, an extra 25k out of nowhere could really change the club.IF it happens. Hopefully we had the foresight...

I don’t think so, but only because it hasn’t been mentioned as far as I know.
Fair play to Joe who is making the most of his chances

I don't believe Pigott has a sell-on clause. Wimbledon nicked him off us on the cheap because he had a 25k release clause in his contract when he signed for us (the only way we managed to get him in the first place), so as they activated that I see no reason why they'd need to include clauses in Joe's contract that were benefical to us.
Fair play to him if he does go back up to the Championship, he's deserved it. Top player and a nice bloke as well.

And he almost single-handedly saved the Wombles. I wish him all success - he deserves it. But, as a point of interest - have we ever actually sold a player with a selling on clause?

Shouldn't this be in the non Maidstone United section . Just saying ..... Nope Depends on whether or not you see talking about former players as living in the past or not! When it’s someone we liked so much as Pigs then that must be ok to be on this forum- especially in the close season when there’s not much else to talk about other than politics and some forum members disgusting sexual fantasies.

You lot really haven't worked me out yet have you, it's Been nearly a year and you still don't know when I am being sensible or not. On this occasion it was my maxthestone impression.

Main media rumours are that he's going to Reading for £250,000...

I wonder what he'll go for if/when Barnet sell him. He was their Player of the Season for the last two years. Interesting Saunders quote in that KM article: "Personally I think he needs to be training every day, rather than the two nights a week we get, but I think he’s got all the attributes." Now that's an idea...
