OK, fits the young and promising pashun player from NLS or below category, even though ex-Leatherhead and Hanwell isn't hugely inspiring, but once again, time will tell!

Oldboy just because he,s from league or two below us just think back to players over the years we have brought in who did ok, what league was Lewis in when we got him?

Car Park. Is that the striker you were on about ?

I'm tired of NL rejects. Would much rather have young hungry players with potential, being given their first chance in professional football. Get them in, build up their fitness and footballing knowledge from increased training. There will be losses and setbacks, but these new players will want to prove themselves, rather than just pick up another pay cheque. Exciting times ahead.

Well this fits the description of young and hungry with it all to prove
Interesting thing is if JS1 had recruited him I suspect there would be all sorts of questions
JS2 has an extended honeymoon period and rightly so.
After all we all began to become seriously fed up with the ex EFL/National League signings that so disappointed
So it's a step up again for Ibrahim and good luck to him
It may not be the fabled 'seasoned' striker signing that has been whispered
But the team build is only in its infancy, lots more to come over the next few weeks.

After last season it seems a bit alien to see the onion bag being stretched so often.
Still, it's something that we may get used to with any luck.

One thing I like is when you look on his twitter he really seems excited to have signed for us. Makes a change from some of the players last season who looked like they didn't even want to be here.

Both new boys pictured wearing away shirts. Does this mean another new home shirt? I thought we'd only had this year's one season?
But then I thought today was Tuesday...

The fact that Ibrahim has been given a 2 year contract is a sign that JS2 is very confident that he will be good enough to make it in NL (if promoted) or is likely to attract interest from other clubs. No pressure but wouldn't it be great if we could unearth the next Varney.

Jakeyboi I think we are actually agreeing with each other - deep down I may prefer it when we get players from pedigree backgrounds, but reality and hope says there is nothing to say that a youngster from two levels lower who is bursting to play for us wont become the next Pigott or Vardy, and I for one am looking forward to seeing what he can do for us, and have faith in JS2 that it will be good!

As long as he is looking forward to working as hard as he possibly can that’s good enough for me, when you compare it to some of the shite we had.
I think getting the blend of youth and experience is going to be important. Last season we were top heavy on players who thought they didn’t have anything to prove, having come from clubs with on paper good credentials and a decent CV
