Sword talking about the Costa del Sheppey reminds me: did you know there's a nudist beach at Leysdown? Doesn't bear thinking about really (not that I'm anything to write home about in that respect)...
Anywho, I got a phone call this morning telling me that I've got a job that I went for, so I'll be getting up to speed with that, reacquainting myself with various beverage distribution facilities, and not concerning myself too much with the antics of MUFC.
And DaveU, the pub I've just walked into has Astley's Together Forever on the jukebox and I already want to do myself in. Well done squire, if you can put up with that for an hour...

Well in 28hrs and 19 minutes the worst season since reformation will be over and the summer will be here. Cedric my tortoise has reappeared and that is always a good sign that the weather is going to improve and by the time I celebrate Malcolm's 4th birthday on May the 23rd it should be in full swing.π¨βππ¨βππ¨βππ¨βπcan't wait what you bought me fatty?π¨βππ¨βππ¨βππ¨βπ. Anyway I shall be utilizing my disabled bus pass to continue my exploration of Sussex and Sarf London and am hoping to attend a couple of world cup cricket matches as well . I have Bob Dylan and Neil Young to look forward to and I am still contemplating attending Metallica at Twickenham but the Β£90+ ticket price seems a bit extravagant in my current financial condition. And so i was wondering what you lot have planned for the next 10 weeks or so. Anybody going anywhere interesting,a luxurious holiday perhaps, watching football abroad or even visiting the Costa del Sheppey. Over to you . I don't want to be picky but this was not quite the worst season since we reformed. In the 1990s we finished second bottom of KCL Div 1 and only avoided relegation because Paddock Wood Town folded... yep, I know. That's not being picky but I missed most of that season as I attended a 12month college course on a Wednesday night so I had to work Saturdays to make up for it.

Well my season ended after the Chesterfield game, so for me I will probably pop along to watch Newcastle at Fulham, fancy seeing some 1 day cricket and then off to Jamaica in July to see the in-laws and have some sun and rum, then fully refreshed I will start again but may focus on the majority of away games, have a good off season ladies and gentlemen

Sleep? Oh yes I remember that word from the dim distant past. The answer Mr shamstone is no. If I am lucky I may close my eyes for an hour between 02.00 &03.00 but that is generally it and then maybe once every 10 or 11 days I will crash out for about 24 hours. The thing is I am on so much medication for my rheumatoid arthritis that I am usually to wired to sleep, it used to be the case that a skin full of beer done the trick but even that doesn't work anymore. Never mind I have the TV shopping channel to keep me going and I have just ordered a multitron automatic dog turd retrieval and bagging device ,its awesome now all I need is a dog.

Sword - When does your summer start & when does it finish ? Summer starts immediately the first medium pacer trundles up to the wicket to release the first ball of the season and will end when Joe Root lifts the little urn above his head and says up yours you cheating Aussie dingo shaggers ,f**k off back home you crim bastards. And the barney army go wild singing You can stuff your f**king VB up yer arse You can stuff your f**king VB up yer arse You can stuff your f**king fosters And your f**king XXXX They can join your f**king VB up yer arseπ

Will sandpaper be allowed at the grounds ? Have you seen the new Fosters advert where the dopey Aussies are rubbing away at the ball with sandpaper before chucking it back on the beach it's not very subtle, luv it!

Off to Athens on Sunday for a 4-day sales conference. I was messaging someone about what I might see while there, and my phone changed "Parthenon" to "part Hendon", relegating me to step 3... Hotel not far from Panathinaikos' old ground. Lucky your phone didn't change Panathinaikos to pain in the arseoles. My phone usually changes sword to thatπππ
