Well in 28hrs and 19 minutes the worst season since reformation will be over and the summer will be here. Cedric my tortoise has reappeared and that is always a good sign that the weather is going to improve and by the time I celebrate Malcolm's 4th birthday on May the 23rd it should be in full swing.π¨βππ¨βππ¨βππ¨βπcan't wait what you bought me fatty?π¨βππ¨βππ¨βππ¨βπ. Anyway I shall be utilizing my disabled bus pass to continue my exploration of Sussex and Sarf London and am hoping to attend a couple of world cup cricket matches as well . I have Bob Dylan and Neil Young to look forward to and I am still contemplating attending Metallica at Twickenham but the Β£90+ ticket price seems a bit extravagant in my current financial condition. And so i was wondering what you lot have planned for the next 10 weeks or so. Anybody going anywhere interesting,a luxurious holiday perhaps, watching football abroad or even visiting the Costa del Sheppey. Over to you .

I will spend sometime reflecting this season just passed and wondering how an earth I continued to watch week in week out. Look forward to next season with added interest, an looking forward to late July for our family holiday an the car sits in the garage all shiny now the scratch has been removed in the comfort of knowing it will be doing far less miles than last year.

Off to see Disturbed/Skindred at Alexandra Palace in two weeks...contemplating another jolly to Poland to see Bullet for my Valentine in August...but otherwise no major plans. Possibly look to lose weight from all the comfort eating and drinking this season has provided!

Off to Athens on Sunday for a 4-day sales conference. I was messaging someone about what I might see while there, and my phone changed "Parthenon" to "part Hendon", relegating me to step 3... Hotel not far from Panathinaikos' old ground.

Seeing Take That at the O2 in about three weeks, taking a hit for the other half in that one , then The Eagles at Wembley Stadium and then Ramblin Man, just the Sunday as I can't afford the whole weekend.

UK Touring Car racing at Thruxton on 18 May for OS Junior's 10th birthday. Watching lots of BMWs and Subarus going round and round really fast - bit like the Oxford Ring Road.

Can just imagine you as the oldest boy band fan an bopping away to Take That, Maidstones answer to little Gary Barlow.

She's on her own for the support act though. I can't bring myself to put up with Rick Astley for an hour or so.

Jesus Take That and Rick Astley that would really finish me off, there would be no coming back from that. That is a straight jacket and rubber wall combo providing I can get my psychiatrist, God bless her ,out of it first.

I don't want to be picky but this was not quite the worst season since we reformed. In the 1990s we finished second bottom of KCL Div 1 and only avoided relegation because Paddock Wood Town folded... yep, I know.
