HH and JS2 are as pissed off with this awful group of players as the rest of us. We have used 60 players and HH/JS have only brought in a couple of them.
The major surgery conducted by the clown has tied their hands.
This is not their squad.
I feel confident about next season..
The one thing i would like to see from our fantastic owners at the end of the season is a heartfelt apology for appointing Harry Wheeler.

Sorry sword but you are totally misreading the signals. There is 0% chance of John and Hakan being fired. 0% and no more. Understand and get over it. Happy to hear HH's post match interview. He didn't try to hide the fact that he is fed up with the players and their lack of hunger and effort. Cannot wait to get rid of this season's flops and start rebuilding again with players who want to wear the club's colours. You’ve set the bar for them nick. After what we’ve seen now from them this season with two to go imo, the honeymoon period will be over. The first 6 games or so of the new season, I think is critical. Depending how it pans out will be key to the fans reaction. The fact we knew we were down has probably kept it under the surface for many fans. Depending how we start, it may bubble over very quickly

All i said was TC's face looked like thunder now for what reason i do not know but i guess the conversation with John and Hakan didnt start with the words "well done on todays performance". Now is there anything else you want to have a go at me about or would you like to pick on somebody else for 10 minutes.

Just want to give a special mention to the stewards again. Approaching the gate I had my bag ready to unzip for the standard search only to be told by the male steward standing 5 metres away it was too hot to walk over so it’s fine.
Sadly yesterday was the one day i left my Semtex at home, damn!

...plus the six police officers on the stairs at the away end to marshall the 67 Braintree massive. What a complete waste of money.
This is nonleague football!!

It was the point you made about spending out on a bet that our management duo are about to get the sack that I was taking issue with. I agree they have enjoyed an extended honeymoon period and achieved nothing but let's judge them on next season's performances and results. That's all I am saying.

HH's interview says it all. Too many players injured or ill - probably why Richards got a game and look where it left him - and hardly anyone interested in making an effort. Every sign that it is not a happy or cohesive dressing room and most players can't wait to get away. Says a couple of things - either they know they are not wanted and have given up (highly probable), and/ or the coaching staff have lost it as well (extremely worrying). According to HH, Cassidy and WDH will not be fit to play again this season. Richards clearly out too and Powell injured in the game. After yesterday, the only players I would pick are Lewington, Wishart, Swaine, Amaluzor and Turgott, plus Embury and Phillips. Trawl the academy for the rest. They will surely love the experience and even if we lose 7-0, I would rather have players who want to play, rather than those who don't. However, as I have no intention of going to either of our last two games, why should I care? Clearly too many of our team don't either.

If I was serious about the bet I would have put a £10 note on it not 50p and I will once again draw your attention to the fact that I have already given my seal of approval for them to be here for the entirety of next season though jakeyboi took issue with me saying that. I have enormous respect for John Still and unlike some I don't think it's time for him to go to the knackers yard as for Hakan ,the jury is out on that one but time will tell. There is always another problem if my little joke about the pair of them being sacked was to come true in 7 days time we would have to find replacements and I know and you know and more importantly they know there is no-one better out there waiting to be snapped up at present. I will say that I don't think we will bounce straight back up at the first time of asking because we are going into what looks like a very tough and ultra competitive league which is why I believe that they should be given all year even if we are in the bottom half come Christmas because we only need to be 7th to go up ,well to have chance to go up but that is my view but I cannot speak for 2000 others who may start leaving the ground 15 minutes early because we haven't won one of our first 3 games. Now Nick I cannot, even if I tried,be more positive thinking than that and if that isn't good enough for you then I am going to retire to Sussex and keep bees and I might train a couple to come and sting you .

The first goal summed up our season; from the kick-off Turgott tried to do too much & lost possession, Powell made an unnecessary foul & from the resulting free kick Davis was to slow in the box and conceded a penalty.
Just voted for Swaine as MOTM; I really hope we can keep him next season.
I was one of those asking for Richards to be given a chance. Well all he did was to confirm that he is Bostik level at best.
Embery is still getting used to a much higher level & probably needs to play alongside a big striker.
Lewington - he should be our first choice keeper next season. Phillips - not quite good enough at full-back or midfield but would be a good squad player in the NLS. David - Initial mistake shredded his confidence & as a loanee I don't suppose he'll be here next season but I would be happy if he was. Swaine - I hope he can be persuaded to stay. Wishart - an enigma but I think best got rid of. Powell - Will surely sign for another NL side next season. Taylor - I am a fan & would sign him next season. Muldoon - HH/JS2 seem to like him but the crowd were on his back yesterday. Don't think he'll be here next season. Richards - see above, just not good enough. Embery - see above but signed for next season anyway. Turgott- Tries to do it all himself but seems to have lost the edge off his pace. Another who will probably go to another NL club
Subs:- Henry - no Walton - no Amaluzor - signed for next season & presumably seen as the replacement for Turgott Cassidy - Showed promise when first loaned but really tailed off since. Won't be here next season. Romain - NLS is probably his level. After his recent displays hard to see anyone else wanting to sign him.
Others: WDH - Presumably injured. If he really has a relegation clause in his contract then I hope he can be persuaded to stay. He and Swaine would be excellent in the NLS and one of them should be made captain. Coker - JS1 made a major error here. McLennan - Looked good when fit to play which was a rare event. don't think we'll see him again. Strigovic - No
Did I miss anybody?

At the most we will have 6 - 8 retained/returning from this squad. Two of those are known :
Justin Amaluzor Jake Embery
So we will have to find between 12 - 14 new players.
I hope our scouts have had the time to find them.

There will be no shortage of NL and NLS players looking for clubs at the end of the season. If the off field side has been well organised, plenty of them should want to play for Maidstone.
