What is all this “if” Turgott goes....... 😂😂 If rumours are to be believed he's already got a deal setup to re-sign for Leyton Orient.

Wonder what will happen to his little kids academy he was setting up while he was out injured? Shame that there isn,t as much loyalty from players like there has been over the years.

Because money has changed football over the years and it's all footballers think about now. Money has stripped all players of PRIDE.

Which would I choose to pursue my career in? *
(* actually neither, because I was really poor at playing football )

I think Turgott to the O's will be a good move for both parties I only hope the rumour I have just heard is not true and that is the SCUM are interested. Please ,please, please don't go there😱😱😱

Good luck to turgott if he goes to orient. Hope he can get in the first 11 and play in the football league. Don’t mind players leaving to play in the football league. Hopefully we can get some good local players in as I don’t see any connection between the existing players and the fans. With Jays team there was always a connection with the fans with at least 50% of the players. I don’t think there is that many that have that connection in this team. This has to change next season as it’s so depressing watching players not care for the club. We need players who actually want to play for the club and will put the hard work in.

A few rumours circulating today around the car park. But only 2 players out of contract from today to be offered new deals for next season. Really ? If true I would be quite happy with that outcome. As for Blair Turgott. word has it that the Orient connection is more than a rumour. If car park gossip is anything to go we should be hearing of at least 2 new signings next week. No surprise there. Also talk about JS1 being offered the Sutton job but who knows for sure.

Seeing Edobor today I wondered if we might be looking at him for next season. Had a decent game and might be an option at left back. Other than Embery and Justin I can't see any of the other outfield players staying. I'd like to keep Swaine, De Havilland, Powell and Phillips but it doesn't seem likely that any of them will stay. Also we either need to keep Lewington or sign a proper keeper, no more under 23s who've never played men's football.
Whatever happens we will see a very different set of players next season, and hopefully they will be able to re-establish the connection with the fans that has been so sadly lacking for most of this season.

Strangely enough daveu I agree exactly with your player selection. Although I would still like to see a stronger keeper than Lewington who I don't think shows much command of the 6 yard box. Decent enough but sticks to his line, probably for a good reason.

if reported correctly (it was on the internet so must be true !!) John Still watched Margate this afternoon.
A few players there good enough for NLS. (not the ex Maidstome players who in the nicest possible way are past their sale by date )
Leighton,Sho-Silva,Swift,plus of course Robins who is already contracted to Maidstone . All good enough for NLS

All good enough for NLS When Toby Sho-Silva played for Bromley at the GS in 2016 he helped them destroy us, with the other winger Blair something or other. Of course we need to be wary of being impressed by one performance but his name sticks in my memory. Wasn't impressed with Noel Leighton when he was on loan at Woking (#Quigley #Enver-Marum*) *who was light years better than Quigley but still not the full ticket
