"Enjoy", now that's a novel concept.
But I'll be there regardless of any enjoyment.
My thoughts exactly the travelling there, the pre match build up and then after the game along with the journey home, the only fly in the ointment is the shite that will be served up from 3pm until 450pm Be positive. With a few notable exceptions what we see away from the Gallagher is better than we suffer at home.

Top post updated This coach definitely runs, despite being short of travellers I think Tim that our supporters have forgotten how to enjoy themselves. There is more to away games than just the football if there wasn't I wouldn't go to any away games. The chance to visit an historical town, a new ground, drink some decent ales in different surroundings and then yes the football. Chesterfield are safe so they will relax we are down so we can relax and who knows we may even see a good game but alas people just don't seem to want the enjoyment that an away day brings. I still cannot believe what you have told me about Sutton on Easter Monday that almost no-one is interested in going ,I am deeply saddened.

I’m looking forward to going to Chesterfield as sword quite rightly says it’s not all about the football, as a fellow supporter used to say it’s nice to have a ‘nice meal’ prior to the game

Sword - Gary from the Swan is trying to sort a 20 seat coach for the Sutton game if you or anyone else is interested. In my humble opinion this is half the problem. There are usually coaches/minibuses competing with Tim’s coach. I know people are free to use whichever source they choose but if everyone used Tim then I would suspect you would get a coach load to every game (yes I can guess the reason they use these alternatives before anyone states the obvious!) I always go on the coach but can’t make this one unfortunately 😢

Thanks for the tip off but as I have already explained to Tim ,living in Tonbridge I can get a travel card for £14.50 but to travel to Maidstone on a bank holiday with Sunday service buses means 2 taxi fares £14 plus return to Maidstone £7 that's £21 before I get on the coach so it's train for me on Monday.

Short of Travellers ! Are you aiming your messages on the correct media? If you're looking for decent ale can I recommend the "Derby Tup" 4 minute's from the ground (turn right on main road in front of ground). There are 8/10 ales on hand pull depending on Friday night! You are welcome to bring in food from the many varied outlets within yards of the "Tup". You are assured a convivial welcome and plenty of football chat, relegation chat as been banned for months, however the slagging off of Ebbsfleet is popular and especially their custodian(?) Cheers
