For me Embery does struggle against big defenders.Looks like a boy against men.Yes he is mobile. But looking on website how does a 20 mins appearence warrant him being top of the MOM votes. Must have a big family?? He didn't appear to struggle against equally big Wrexham defenders last week. Admittedly in a similar 20 minute cameo appearance. Or the big Havant defenders

Listened to Stones Live last night they had the drummer on there discussing his removal from the ground during Saturday,s game, personally I think they should of had the head of security to put across there points as well just to make it fair.

And knowing James I doubt very much if he ripped up his ST.

Throwing bottles, overcrowding, arguments Re overcrowding, he said/she said...I cannot wait for the axe to fall. The National League has been largely unenjoyable from start to finish! I think the entire squad should be given an extended summer holiday starting this week, just concede the remaining fixtures now for all of our sanity Personally I think my sanity is fine, but my looking forward to the trips to Harrogate and Chesterfield may cause others to doubt it.
However, judging by some of the reactions on this forum I think it may already be too late for some people

My next game will be Sutton (assuming we're running a coach - Tim!) and I've missed the last two homes, so it feels like my season's over already.
We are down and a late-season, compensatory rally isn't looking likely, so it all feels a bit pointless (literally!). Oddly, though, I'm still looking forward to Sutton, and hopefully the Aldershot game will be a sort of 'celebration' (if for nothing else, relief that this season's over!).
Although, with our luck this season, that will be the game Aldershot need to survive...

I've booked things now and I could lose £54 for my two family nights in Travelodge.

Just watched highlights and slightly surprised Stones TV only give four minutes of play, which is considerably less than Ashmore spent time wasting. Well though Fleet took their first goal, not sure about Henry's positioning, though if it had been us we would be claiming a stunning cross. The second was a joke and shows how Henry can be very static at times. Ashmore on the other hand though he appears to look uninterested (probably brooding over when his next paycheck will arrive), has lighting reflexes. Annoying though he undoubtedly is, must be one of the best keepers in the NL.

He isn't even Bostik/Ryman League standard right now.

I fail to understand at all why, when we've got one excellent goalie, and one shit one, we keep playing the shit one.

Surely he's got to be worth a punt given how poor Henry is, and that Lewington seemingly wants to concentrate on coaching.

I dont normally agree with you Dave but given our situation we have very little to lose in letting Strizovic play these last few games with a possible view into him earning a place next season if he,s good enough. He surely cannot be worse than Henry.
