Ironic you say that when you were the person shouting from the hill tops how great Harry was and how we needed to keep him. Christ if we had kept that fraud in charge I would have no hope whatsoever for next season. It's not ironic. I thought the team was better then and needed time. He also lost Turgott at a bad time. Perhaps he wasn't mature enough to deal with public opinion. His team beat Barnet away last autumn. Jesus Lord...is evidence not enough to convince you? We were rubbish under Wheeler.

So, our next home game is H&W, two initials best not mentioned anyway and no longer a relegation six pointer, for us at least. Have told myself will not go to any more games until we have won one at home and suspect there are many feeling the same. Whether I will weaken or not come the day depends as much on the weather and alternative events. For example attending the national final of watching paint dry could easily take precedent. But then it's football and the home team... Either way, given that attendances always include the season ticket holders regardless, whoever goes go needs to note the approximate number of empty seats in the main stand and subtract that from the reported gate. If the answer remains in four figures, I for one will be very surprised - especially if it is raining

Time this myth was put to bed. The gate figure is based on turnstile clicks (plus VIPs, etc), not on ST holders.

Well last night just about summed up how bad we have become this season, there is no point in trying to put the blame on anyone person because there has been errors from all those who have been involved, from the owners downwards. Personally if I was JS now I would start rebuilding a team ready for next season so we can start full of hope. I mean last night it was almost an hour before we shot at the goal. And that was against a weakened side.

Last season's finals were a classic, the way the burgundy with a hint of lilac took on the field was immense - even drying, well within the permitted time limits in each and every round. Finally beating the cerise - battleship grey combo in the final round with ease. I would advise not missing it this year, where a particular shade from the Terre Verte yard is tipped to go the distance. Sorry I know it's not funny, but I need to let off some steam.

Purely because the timing is not good with regard who JS would like to get in, the right players won't start to become available until the the end of the season, and this is where the rebuild can really begin within the limits that the budget will allow, which should be sufficient at NLS level.

Apart from being unable to put simple passes together, control the ball, keep the ball in the field of play, mount any form of thought out attack, defend without looking panicstricken and play any form of pass from midfield, I thought we looked OK. The only worrying areas were defence midfield and attack. Last week's assertion that this is the worst Maidstone side (for the level it is at) I have seen was confirmed and added to tonight. Utterly and abjectly appalling. Every word on this thread is accurate. My concern is that JS and HH cant even get this bunch passing on the ground, taking on players and beating them, making attacks, shooting at goal, not making defensive errors-the very basics of football. Individually they all have good CV's so why together do they play like they haven't a clue? Once again Stockport were not great, and we looked like a totally overawed Bostik league team - maybe lower. JS and HH may be waiting for seasons end to clear this lot out and start again, but surely with their experience they can get more out of this squad??? Why bother fighting 1-1 at Stockport to completely roll over at JWW in such an embarrassingly bad fashion? Only player who seemed bothered by our dire performance when they came off was SW, who also played like a man overdue retirement. The rest just looked brain dead. I just couldn't name a MOM as they were all absolute pants, some worse than others. What do these guys do all week? they don't do anything else in life for a job but play football, and they cant play football. Its like being a bricklayer who cant lay bricks. Its just beyond belief. If only we could only pay them for winning. With that performance under a management that is supposed to save the club I fear a double relegation. How can an NL squad be the worst Maidstone side ever compared with the lower league squads we have had in the past? We have to go back to semipro voluntarily and get players in who WANT to play football and are grateful for the opportunity, before we are forced to go semipro due to relegation back to Bostik. I'm Black and Amber through and through, but this morning cant face watching another embarrassing home game this season at JWW with this bunch who don't deserve the shirt or their pay cheques. No heroes in this team except maybe Lewington - the loudest player on the pitch last night, much needed, and Turgott. The rest can go. Including Pax. And Cass. We don't want any of you. The club had a crack at Wembley and yet you couldn't be *rsed to do the only job you are paid to do. Lazy, passionless wasters.

I have just heard the governing body have made this a no holds barred patchwork quilt match over the best of 3 feet and that is Suzi's speciality so Maude is up against it

An embarrassing performance. The only mitigating factor was that the squad was down to the bare bones due to players either being inexperienced loanees, ineligible or injured. Of the XI who started I can't see any of them being with us next season except for Lewington & possibly Donellen.

Suddenly, being laid up for nearly 3 months after an operation on my foot and not been able to get to a game since 1st December is not that bad at all

Of the XI who started I can't see any of them being with us next season except for Lewington & possibly the Donellens. The Donnellans were clueless. They need to be in our Academy for a week first to remind them how to play, like the rest of the squad. Only positive was that Leo looked like he was vaguely disappointed at the result, so there may be hope for him to be worth the shirt. His brother was like a lost Sunday League player playing way above his station. As were they all. We all seem to agree on Lewington as our new Worgs, even though he has a couple of rusty moments and needs to command the penalty area more. Lets build a team around him to try to stay in NLS next year and stop the double drop, which right now is very, very possible.

Am I the only one thinking that Hakan needs to be giving a 'better' interview than last night's after a performance like that? Whilst understanding he needs to be 'protecting' the players he also needs to be 'managing' the supporters which he'll lose quickly if he keeps responding like that.

Bollix to protecting players and making excuses. People pay money to waste time watching this nonsense and deserve better. It is not as if this was a one off performance. Have we actually seen the team put in a shift this season? Macclesfield and Wrexham maybe, but I that was a bloody long time ago. Extract the digits people. Kick arses, throw hairdryers. Do something FFS!
