It is not against the law to show football at 3pm. The leagues decided not to allow it for fear of losing gate receipts, persuaded largely by then Burnley chairman Bob Lord who hated televised football (I like that guy) and even banned Match of the Day cameras from Turf Moor for about 5 years Understandable - at the time, at least. But, weirdly, I think it's probably the other way round in our case. If BT broadcast the game at 3, they'd get an audience consisting almost entirely of Stones fans, and a few Solihull. But, if they put it out later, when theres no other games on, they'll get thousands of football desperados who'll watch anything that involves kicking a ball. Not necessarily premier league football i good give or take until southgate i wouldn't bother with our national team and Scottish football fark me id rather stick me bollocks in blender than watch that crap, even women's football is better than that dross.

Actually the biggest risk to non-league attendances would be if they showed Premier league football at 3pm on a Saturday

Since they started giving their clubs thousands of pounds I assume. They need games to kick off at a time that is the most commercially-viable. Still a bugger for those with non'refundable train tickets. But when did train companies ever care about passengers...? The reason for either an early or late kick off is that it is still illegal in the UK to broadcast live football at 3.00pm on a Saturday. An arcane law that has never ben repealed from the statute books. <iframe width="24.5" height="5.480000000000018" style="position: absolute; width: 24.5px; height: 5.480000000000018px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 15px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_73382918" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="24.5" height="5.480000000000018" style="position: absolute; width: 24.5px; height: 5.48px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1164px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_43926521" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="24.5" height="5.480000000000018" style="position: absolute; width: 24.5px; height: 5.48px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 212px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_34043605" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="24.5" height="5.480000000000018" style="position: absolute; width: 24.5px; height: 5.48px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1164px; top: 212px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_17769968" scrolling="no"></iframe> It's why you can see these games elsewhere but not here in Blighty.

They used to be hacked quite a bit, I don't know if this is still the case. In my West Ham days, there used to be quite a few streams posted on the fans forums pre-match. Most didn't work, and none ever seemed to last the whole game, but you could usually manage to watch most of the match with a bit of effort.

If you go to any decent sports bar ,especially in a city, you can watch whatever game you like. Wor Danny refuses to pay exorbitant premier league entry fees when he can watch the Toon in a city centre bar for nothing.

We played Solihull Saturday, the tactics were, stop us, roll around on the floor if a Fleet player comes near you. A big physical side who feign injury constantly, a real shame as you could see they could play if they wanted to. They deserved the win, we were poor. Good luck, it's getting desperate now, but by no means impossible.
