Precedence would suggest otherwise. We generally don't play well when televised and we've not been good in either of our performances away to Solihull.
Time will tell.

I have been dropping hints to my contacts at BT Sport.
Perhaps they paid off!

So everyone who has now booked return tickets before the game has finished, now gets fucked over. Right....

Since they started giving their clubs thousands of pounds I assume. They need games to kick off at a time that is the most commercially-viable. Still a bugger for those with non'refundable train tickets. But when did train companies ever care about passengers...?

A good question. I would assume so as they are broadcasting both teams not just Solihull Moors. As in the FA Cup..money whether home or away.

Can't find any reference anywhere to the actual amounts involved but I believe all teams get a cut and then both teams in each tv game get a payment for that game.

The reason for either an early or late kick off is that it is still illegal in the UK to broadcast live football at 3.00pm on a Saturday. An arcane law that has never ben repealed from the statute books.

The leagues decided not to allow it for fear of losing gate receipts, persuaded largely by then Burnley chairman Bob Lord who hated televised football (I like that guy) and even banned Match of the Day cameras from Turf Moor for about 5 years

But, weirdly, I think it's probably the other way round in our case. If BT broadcast the game at 3, they'd get an audience consisting almost entirely of Stones fans, and a few Solihull. But, if they put it out later, when theres no other games on, they'll get thousands of football desperados who'll watch anything that involves kicking a ball.
