Well I got the gist of most of it. Appalling acoustics in the Spitfire Lounge.

So what were the highlights? Any new news or same stuff as Oliver’s blog and already given interviews?

A couple of old blokes say all the right things, whilst a younger bloke struggles to remember if he's in Essex or Kent.
Watched by a load of overweight, middle aged blokes swilling beer.
Meanwhile a bunch of fit, young lads pledge their loyalty to a place they couldn't find on the map* a few months ago.
Cynical? Moi?

Cant we have a whip round to get Cassidy? Or do we take the KSC seriously and will we be happy to win it or be awkward about it like last year?

Would be surprised if I was far off though.

We live streamed it at home. Was actually quite good bar the sound quality and had to guess questions he got asked from his answers.
He isn't just after players, he is after the right players and they aren't easy to come by especially this time in the season. Money is probably a factor to having some on loan but I don't care aslong as they do their bit and try and keep us up.
His answer to 3g was good. He doesn't particularly like it but would not vote against it in the efl as he sees what it brings to clubs.
In general a lot more questions than the Wheeler got but most I cannot remember!
One guy asked how good a player he thought Bill was in his day and his answer was "he was brilliant, and do you know why I think that? because he told me!" 😂
If he had to choose between us winning tomorrow or our next league game, he would choose the league game because we desperately need points on the board, but they will try their hardest for a win tomorrow too.

JS did say there were 2 or 3 more signings in the pipeline. One of which is a striker.

Just watched it all, and I must say that its so refreshing to listen to a man who has been there and done it over and over, rather than Harry who has never been there and never done it.

Just watched it all, and I must say that its so refreshing to listen to a man who has been there and done it over and over, rather than Harry who has never been there and never done it. Harry Wheeler will always be regarded as something of a legend with Stones supporters. In his brief time with the club, he initiated a whole new way of tbinking about how football should be played. The previously despised hoofball tactics became Harry's idea of the beautiful game, whilst unappealing to punters, it did at least create more space on the terraces. Just amazing how he turned everything around. How we miss him !
