If you google beast from the east, the only papers talking about it are the Sun and the Daily Star, which tells you all you need to know. Crap tabloids whipping up mass hysteria over nothing as ever. Oh and The Daily Record which is Scottish - that's where there'll be snow, if anywhere. Edit to add, the wxcharts website link via The Sun is a nice geeky tool. Outside poss of snow for Kent on 26 Nov. nws better warn his missus that she might get a couple of inches that night. That much?

Nope, the snow is the only kind of weather so far that has stopped our games going ahead... You should have heard the uproar when one of our games was postponed because if it! It isn't necessarily to do with the state of the pitch but the health and safety issues that it causes for everyone in and around the whole ground. Can't have been at the Gallagher can it? As far as I'm aware the only home game we've had called off since the stadium opened was that Macclesfield debacle last year.

No we had one game called off because of snow and I think it was a Folkestone game but I could be wrong on that one. I am sure someone will put me right if I am.

And I think it was to do with conditions on steps / pavements, nothing to do with the pitch

There's Snow One Like You? Making up your own lyrics now? Sorry, if season ticket holders get first dibs to tickets at all ticket games then I get first dibs at changing Scorpions lyrics

Our track record in this area is shaky.

We aren't the preferred team of TV schedulers. I never expect to see us scheduled for live TV matches.

No Beast from the East next week. Chilly, yes, windy too, but snow till Christmas? No. Beware what you read in the papers, especially those who like peddling sensationalisms...

Sadly people believe what they read in the tabloids, which is why this country is the sack of shite it now is.

You overstate the power of the tabloids & the number of readers they have.
We have had more than 20 years of the internet , it's 2018 not 1998.

The Sun and the Mail still have huge readerships (plus big internet presence), and their readers are typically older and more likely to vote (and less likely to use the internet). There would have been no Brexit insanity without the tabloids peddling their lies and stirring up hysteria.
