Looking at the draw for the second round of the FAcup our tie against the Latics will not be utmost in the thoughts of the TV companies buta quick perusal of the up coming weather shows the aforementioned Beast from the East setting in over the country from late November with temperatures dropping below freezing and more snow than Daniella Westbrook can possibly stick up her nostrils. Sorry gone a bit off track there but anyway this may persuade the tv boys to pick us because of our 3G pitch knowing they have a good chance of having a game to screen.

Nope, the snow is the only kind of weather so far that has stopped our games going ahead... You should have heard the uproar when one of our games was postponed because if it!
It isn't necessarily to do with the state of the pitch but the health and safety issues that it causes for everyone in and around the whole ground.

That is a good point but let's hope those that decide what games to screen are not as intelligent as you are.

If you google beast from the east, the only papers talking about it are the Sun and the Daily Star, which tells you all you need to know. Crap tabloids whipping up mass hysteria over nothing as ever. Oh and The Daily Record which is Scottish - that's where there'll be snow, if anywhere. Edit to add, the wxcharts website link via The Sun is a nice geeky tool. Outside poss of snow for Kent on 26 Nov. nws better warn his missus that she might get a couple of inches that night.

Indeed, remember last year the Express was trumpeting snow in October, which came to nothing of course. BBC weather showing nothing at the moment, but experience says snow is very difficult to forecast, though in Kent it only happens in meaningful amounts from an easterly wind. Only predictions the weekend before will have any value. Despite all the computing power, they still can't predict more than a few days ahead.
