Old question - but I can never remember the answer. How many tickets do we have to give them? 21. DISTRIBUTION OF TICKETS (a) All Rounds Preceding the Semi-Finals In all matches preceding the Semi-Finals, the Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up to 15% of all accommodation for which tickets are issued providing these tickets are in a fully segregated area, and subject to the following regulations: (i) The request for tickets shall be made within four days of the draw. (ii) The tickets allotted to the Visiting Club, if numbered and reserved, must be of equal value to those retained by the Home Club. (iii) In cases of replays, the Club playing away in the replay must make a request for tickets prior to the original match in order to ensure that the replay tickets are in the possession of the club playing away in the replay at the latest immediately on conclusion of the original match. (iv) The Visiting Club shall be responsible for the payment of all tickets asked for and allotted, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs in writing with a copy sent to The Association. All questions in dispute shall immediately be referred to The Association. (v) The Visiting Club should settle with the Home Club for sales of tickets on or before the day of the match. (vi) Any tickets not sold by the Visiting Club should be returned to the Home Club with their statement of tickets sales. (vii) In the Competition Proper, a Visiting Club shall be entitled to one third of the seats usually reserved and known as “Home and Visiting Directors’ Seats” up to a maximum of 24 seats. (viii) Where disabled facilities are provided, a Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up to 15% of this accommodation. (ix) Where it is deemed desirable, the Professional Game Board shall have the right to vary the allocation of tickets to the Visiting Club, or require a match to be made all ticket

I think there is still a number of potential live games depending on replays, Maidstone v Oldham, guiseley v fleetwood, billericay v grimsby, Solihull v blackpool, Salford v Scunthorpe, Halifax v Wimbledon, Sutton or slough v gills. Not sure if they decide before the replays or wait till played. Salford game will definitely be live as the new 'BBC Manchester' are completely obsessed with them just because of the Man U connection. Billericay is a sure bet you would think as they are one of the lowest ranked clubs left in now, and the Sutton game (regardless of opponents). As BT Sport will want to show a couple, with Friday night and Sunday switches, it is possible all of the ties you listed will end up being shown. I will be surprised if ours is not picked for live coverage.BT wont pick Oldham again as one of its live games. I'd suggest best we can hope for is it being moved to the Sunday as one of the 7 or 8 games there are cameras at - if anyone is doing that this season.

The third nice admission I've had on this board this week. Tim, Scot Stone and now you. Just need JDL to say something complimentary and I have a set I think. You actually believe that don't you? Are you unable to read anything how it is actually written?

same fans but then guess the fans aren't the club it is only the owners... not The same fans that couldn't be arsed to support the original club in sufficient numbers to keep it alive, and then formed a new club and stole another club's ground. Sorry, but the idea of AFCW taking the moral high ground is just ridiculous. the fans supported the original club till it was taken from them and re located to MK, 90 miles is it, not like Maidstone with the hope of return but instead re branded, new kit, new badge, new ground, new name so they chose to start a new club in the same area and did what those who decided their club could be taken said couldn't happen. The reason given for re location was that it wouldn't be possible to start from scratch which Wimbledon then did and now though struggling are in the league above MK. There were generations of fans and kids to be taken to the junior section, to do what they did shows how committed the local community were and still are but that couldn't continue once the club had been moved so no surprise many 'couldn't be arsed to support the original club' as it was no longer the local club. They supported the club while it was in Wimbledon but not when it went off to the hockey stadium in Milton Keynes as it ceased to be the local community club. I applaud their commitment and efforts, not commenting on grounds other than to say they will be back in Plough Lane soon so really community based. oh and read what Waterman was saying over the years, after much abuse he admitted he regretted how it all was done and it shouldn't have happened.

At 4,200 capacity, that means a maximum of 630 Oldham fans. With the ‘separation barrier', I’d guess the actual capacity of the EE is around 1,600, so, in theory, Oldham could end up with about 40% of the EE. But I can't see them bringing anything like that many. Their home gates at the moment are averaging at just over 4,000 - less than Wrexham, Orient and Chesterfield get, and (from memory) less than Tranmere and Lincoln used to get in the NL. Even Tranmere and Lincoln at their height never brought anything like 600 fans, and we're not exactly the sort of 'glamour' fixture many fans will travel for, so I'd expect them to bring about half their allocation, maximum - probably fewer. So, a good away crowd by NL standards (less than we took to Stonebridge Road!), but still easily outsung by rhe Elvis Choir. And, hopefully, they'll be a little surprised by the size of our support.

Didn’t I read they sold out a 400 plus allocation at Hampton last night ? For a Monday night game ? If true I can’t see your sums adding up .

Conveniently forgetting how Kingstonian became tenants in their own stadium and ultimately lost it when AFCW sold it to Chelsea. I'm not saying the MK thing was right but I can never feel any sympathy or admiration for a club who took advantage of another club's debt to get themselves a ground on the cheap. Sorry, you and I are never going to agree on this so let's just leave it there.

I think they'll easy sell out for this game, with a potential massive 3rd round tie for the winner. I will also be surprised if this is not all ticket. I think the only way they wouldn't sell out is if it's on Friday or Monday night on tv.

Let us not hope that not too many turn up because the residents and workers of Oldham have the tendency to riot if they are not happy. Over the years the Luddites,Chartists and even the Suffragettes have had many a barney in Oldham,Not forgetting the vicous racial riots of 2001. Should we best them it could mesn trouble.

Not possible I'm afraid as Malcolm will be observing Hannukah and will be staring at the wicks of the Menorah for 8 days. My tortoise Cedric who will be 81 next month is up for a fight though .
