Interesting article on Kent Online going through the candidates, not necessarily because of the information given, but more for the poll for who fans want as the next boss. The standings so far:
Chris Kinnear 26% Sol Campbell 21% Steve Watt 10% Peter Taylor 9%
I find it amazing that so many people would rather give Campbell the job than Watt, given the fact he has never managed a club in his life.

But many of the 'fans' voting probably support other Kent clubs etc. & are on for a wind up, so not necessarily a fair sample of MUFC opinion ?

Campbell would have more contacts and a different style of play. The publicity it would give the club as well would be good. Watt has an opportunity tonight to play good attacking football. If he doesn’t then I wouldn’t even consider him for the job.

You can only play good attacking Football if you have the players to do it- no chance with our current lot

Sol Campbell would bring publicity but so does Glenn tamplin...
He has no experience, and I feel this would only be worth the risk at the very beginning of the season where he would have a full pre season and time to add his own players to the squad. I'd like someone who's been in a similar position within the league before who'd have good contacts of experienced heads at our level to bring in to replace some of the dross we've got. Banking on league u21 players coming good hasn't worked out too well so far.
I wouldn't be against CK from Dover but I imagine Pennock will talk a good game to the board and being local to us would suit him. I guess we will need to keep our eyes peeled to see who's at he game Tonight in the stands!

One of sol Campbell’s previous interviews said that he wouldn’t want a wage and would take just win bonuses. That would save the owners money.

Kinnear now the favourite at 5/4 The Dover fans forum carries a thread ' Goodbye and Thanks CK ' which has built up 99 posts & is still going strong. Generally expresses extreme dissatisfaction with current events @ Crabble, not dissatisfaction with the fact that CK might be poached / lured away by MUFC.... www.tapatalk.com/groups/doverathletic/goodbye-and-thanks-ck-t6778-s90.html

Don't understand why some Dover fans want rid of him so much. Other than a poor start to this season he's done a brilliant job their the last 4 or so seasons.
1 season of making the play offs, 3 where they just missed out and their fans think its not good enough at this level.....id be over the moon with that.

...and they don’t want JS as a replace for CK. I’m not surprised even they know how bad he is...
