Having been at Wembley that day I can gladly confirm that 45,000 "gillingham" fans were outsung by Wigan fans that numbered around 8,000 for most of the game. I d say only half of them were gills fans in truth, the rest were day trippers from all over Kent. You get that for those sort of games though, Nigel. I predicted that it would be interesting on Sunday because there were 5,000 in the Brackley part of the ground but how many wouldn't know songs, care that much etc etc. There was a group of lads near us that were singing all game (about 50 of them) and in odd instances they got others joining in. Other than that there were patches of people singing plus a lot of people just watching. I suspect many were just there because their home town was at Wembley (Brackley only has, according to one of their people, 13,000 people anyway) and why not. A much larger number of people got joined in once they scored. Unfortunately this was around the 95 minute mark.

I believe we are more likely to get the financial support of Paramount park as our main sponsor, I'm afraid.
