1 win and all of a sudden we're 8 clear of the drop, 4 clear of the next team, and only 3 off 14th. That Worgs 2v1 midway through the second half could prove massive

Second half much improved, mostly down to loza trying to play with the ball then entertaining a hoof fest.
We were lucky Torquays execution was equally as bad as ours, however a different system next week will be a must.
Still a huge 3 points. Our first win since, Torquay..

A win is a win is a win ! But I wouldn't want us lined up and playing like that every week. Very defensive look to the team against a poor Torquay Grateful to that wonder save from Worgs. All the same 3 points is great
Funny thing a few supporters at the EE bar were saying at half time, that they could see us playing below par and nicking a win, just as we did in the away fixture

We were very lucky and a pitch invasion "West Ham style" would have happened hadn't we scored !!

On today's games, we would be better off playing Aldershot or Maidenhead every week. Looking up the scores, surprised to see neither had a player or three sent off. Seriously bad day at the office it seems.

Not sure what to make of that. We've played far far better and lost. I suspect nerves played a large part for both teams because it was one of the worst games of football I've ever seen and Torquay missing an absolute sitter in stoppage time just about summed the game up. Odd thing though, the two teams weren't the worst performers on the pitch, that accolade goes to yet another truly dreadful referee.
Looked a different side when Loza came on, nice early sub for a change, we started to put their defence under pressure and work the goalkeeper and that's what won us the game. Massive relief at the end, but we'll have to perform better than that if the crowds aren't going to drop off. Never seen so many people leave early from all parts of the ground.

Next two games are real "six-pointers" now.

We won...but that performance was shocking. Two pub teams!
With the exception of Blair I don't think any of this team deserve to return next season!
How can we set up so defensively against such a poor team?

How can we set up so defensively against such a poor team? Possibly because after 17 without a win, grinding out a result was more important than the performance. It was a dreadful game, but I'd take that if it gets us the points we need to stay up.

A win and probably a fortuitous one in all honesty but it's three points none the less which should stave off any fears of relegation but the amount of people streaming out before the end rather said it all.

Watching that, difficult not to laugh out loud at the poverty of what was served up. Still, of those teams below us only Solihull are in any kind of form so we should be OK. How you start a home game 6 pointer with 4 centre backs is beyond me. Loza MOM for me, dynamite when he came on.

This match was never about the performance. Always about the result. Job done.
