So we are starting with our normal back four with Hare instead of Seth!! I take it Finney is not match fit...? The new lad on the bench so is he not fit...? I can feel a massive I told you so coming if we concede! Fingers crossed we pull it off, but I wish Jay would take a chance and use new signings immediately

And we concede a typical crap goal, as Jay will call it. At the moment, little to look forward to second half. They are all seven feet tall (apart from two) and Barrow's plan will be to boot it high and the air and chase. And why not. It clearly works well for them...

Yup, so far, so bad. By the by, they have a guy with a throw in as good as Flisher in his pomp

15 league games without a win, which will soon be 17 as we don't have a prayer in the next 2 matches. Relegation is very much on now, 6 points from the drop after Solihull winning. 3 home league wins out of 17 says it all, utter Shite!!

Down to 17th with Leyton, Hartlepool, Solihull, Chester and of course Barrow winning. At this rate we will soon be in the relegation zone as both Hartlepool and Barrow have a game in hand. Listening on Stones live we had plenty of possession but no one who can score a goal. We now appear to have loads of defenders but no one to replace Pigott or Hines. Come on Jay sort it out

Of the players who left, not sure if it's more annoying seeing Pigott (last minute winner) and Ter Horst (twice) scoring or Collins and Hines not even playing. Oh well nice short trip to Oxford City next season.

Well, that was depressing. Obvious from the start that Barrow were out to nick a goal and then shut up shop. Given our long term form, they had every reason to play that way and so it proved. The knives will be out again for Jay Saunders and, for this game at least, they may be justified. Will be interesting to hear the post match interview. Why no Twumasi? Why no new centre half? Or why wait till the 91st minute to bring him on? Why play the way we did, when surely it was known how Barrow would set up? Why no plan B when it was obvious we were going nowhere against a ten man defence? Paxman did ok, Lewis was busy, Turgott likewise, but every attack was smothered by their defence. This had all the makings of 0-0, but we can't keep a clean sheet. Can we win another league match this season? Even Torquay will come here and feel they have a chance. Relegation a real possibility, now.

no point in going OTT but must admit to that being one of Stones poorer performances this season cannot recall the Barrow keeper having to make a single save and what happened for their goal ? our centre backs seemed to dissolve in front of their striker when he made his run just not good enough all round, Reason below par in midfield today, Lewis and Paxman were ok up front nobody played really badly, but nobody played really well back to the drawing board for Jay, needs to reshape the team for BW.

Not wanting to jump on the bandwagon, but i think I will take a step back from the football, I have attempted to remain positive but it’s just getting harder and harder to watch these abject performances, I decided after Gateshead away i would knock the away travel on the head, with the exception of Chester as I have already booked this up, but I don’t believe I will be back this season, I hope somehow we can turn it around but I simply can’t keep on watching this shite.

Barrow were one of the worst sides at the Gallagher this season but somehow we managed to be even worse. Not sure what the answer is but i said a few weeks ago we were sleep walking towards relegation. Time to wake up or it will end in tears. Hopefully with Finney and our two new defenders back this week we will be tighter. Although today our attacking was pretty disappointing. Jay must be so frustrated.

Crap! I honestly think our Ryman premier team would have done better. Full of loan players and only 3 players in pax worgs and Lewis playing these days with any passion for the shirt. We gave the team and jay one of the best pre match welcomes in a while and we get repaid with that load of shite.

Jay needs to start showing he is capable of superior tactics because just changing the personnel hasn't and won't work. Same shite football with different players to play it. This team are no where near the worst in the league and should be playing and winning far more games.
How you can justify the constant defensive punts upfield is beyond me. Tactics are a real problem for Jay, he has one way of playing and if it doesn't work change the players and try again.
Even Pennock has got them organised and playing some neat football in spells.

So I was proven correct unfortunately! Magnus was far to easy to beat for their Goal.
Worgan was pretty good, Paxman worked hard as did Lewis, Reason brings nothing to the party! We don’t play as a team at all, no passion and our finishing was awful. 4-3-3 is still not working.
I don’t believe we have any tactics, our corners were all the same with no creation. If we fail to win all season will Jay keep his job. There must be a cut off somewhere! I believe the players are letting him down, but a good manager turns that around. Want us to win and Jay to stay I really do. Need a midfielder still I reckon!
