OK no definitive list at the top this time. Just add your own favourites or info about others. Some of these have semi mythical status...
CHARLTON Flanagan and Hales sent off for fighting. And a floodlight failure. The first of these away, the second at home?
DEAL local requisitions PA to threaten to trash a badly parked car.
ASH fan stands alone sings ASH ASH UNITED non stop for whole game. Then tidies up the corner flags at the end.
ELVIS sits in the dug-out and gets sent off? Did that really happen?
CHIPSTEAD innocuous midfield free kick. One of our players says something to one of theirs who instantly throws a massive punch, narrowly missing. Sent off still ranting. Sacked on the Monday.
HENDON (this is one of several discussed on long car shares to matches. Blame Stones Live) Stones fans coach gets to start of M1, fans hear game off (at Bradford?) so look for a local game to watch and end up at Hendon v Barrow in the Trophy... as do a 4th set of fans.
BLACKPOOL one of our fans twists an ankle on the terracing celebrating a goal. St John's Ambulance wheel him in a wheelchair past the home fans to rowdy abuse.
TORQUAY turn up with yellow shirts and have to wear our tie dye purple numbers.
Looking forward to reading more detail on the above (or finding out some are just urban myth) plus any other weird and wonderful happenings!

Their player gets sent off for an incident with Steve Watt at the Elvis End, and has a massive rant at the Main Stand on his way off the pitch. Sacked by his club the following day.

kcl game where asst man Steve Cairns oddly named himself as sub.. on 80 minutes he brought himself on and immediately squared up to a particular opponent, took him out and was sent off...a planned revenge. I think it was at London Road against Stansfeld?

I recall Stones having an away match postponed in the KCL (might have been Moonshot) because a dead body was found on the pitch.

I recall Stones having an away match postponed in the KCL (might have been Moonshot) because a dead body was found on the pitch. 50-50 chance of that happening when playing Stansfeld, although the body was usually still alive at kick off.

It appears as though their player has gone on to bigger and better things, working with Peter Kay and hosting Take Me Out.

Interestingly (or not), the player in question, Billy Harding, was at the time starring in a reality type show based around modelling, hosted by Katie Price. Definitely the funniest thing I've seen on the pitch, he completely lost the plot.

I got called on the PA at Chipstead (different match) because my car engine was still running at half time. Does that count as bizarre? Bloody Ford keyless ignition.....

Two cup semi-finals in one day (if memory serves me correctly, the first one went to extra time, then we won the second by a bigger margin). Going to a cup final in Tenterden (again, if memory serves...) only to find out that the pitch was unplayable and the match was being held at our place (still the pitch behind MFI at the time, I believe). You don't get that in the FA Cup.

The game against Weymouth that wasn't, because their team went on strike?
(First time a senior side had ever gone on strike - or so we were told at the time.)
