Poor yes but we were stretched as a squad...good players had an off day - all of them. Is that our record defeat at JWW? Yes. That was an utter shower. Too many players were way off the pace tonight. We lost every second ball , were out muscled and bullied everywhere. We lacked in every department.

Possibly the worst team seen at the Gallagher, Wrexham are now top, we beat Macclesfield 4 - 1, Boring Wood were far from it, possibly the best I have seen this season so far, but are mid table, this league is crazy, and form seems to go out the window. On to Saturday, Delano and Reason Will be back. I fancy us to get something out of the Tranmere game. Plus Dover and Sutton both lost, Ebbsfleet, Eastleigh, Orient all struggling. Theres an awful long way to go, so just enjoy the ride. At least we are at the right end of the table unlike last year.

0-4. Shocking performance. All over the place, no pattern, no movement. Bit of organization and solidity from Borem Rigid and the old Stones were done for. How full was that main stand by the end.

Jesus f**king Christ. That was abysmal. I can't think of a single positive from tonight. Pigs had a clear penalty ignored and their 'penalty' was a joke, but what difference would it have made? They would have just stepped it up and stuffed us even more. We were actually lucky to get away with only losing by 4. Jay's face as he left the pitch said it all - I would strongly advise anyone who knows him to steer well clear for a day or two. The only possible good that can come from tonight is that the MKD game can't be as bad. Maybe that's it - they had scouts in tonight, so Jay deliberately got us to play really badly? Oh bollocks, I can't even be bothered with pathetic attempts at humour. I can think of one positive, Richards looked decent when he came on. As for their penalty, agreed it wasn't a pen, and I'm convinced the ref wasn't going to give it until he saw Magnus' reaction.

Can anyone give any positives from tonight??? Rhys Bartlett looked good I thought. The cross that he got in from the left deserved someone on the end of it. Was going to ironically vote him MoM but "curiously" we don't seem to get that opportunity for this game.

I think I had my head between my knees by then and was gently rocking back and fourth and dribbling...

i had an uneasy feeling before the game that we could be undone and unfortunately I was proved right, fair play to Borehamwood who looked a very decent outfit, always first to the ball and they were constantly running and if i'm not mistaken they were first to a lot of 2nd balls as well, our midfield struggled however I thought Phipps played ok, thankfully Reason will be back on Saturday, finally there supporters were also a good bunch and deserve a bit of credit for the noise they made considering there was only a few of them, thankfully we are back on the road on Saturday and I am looking forward to visiting Tranmere

Seeing how poor our quality in midfield was last night, maybe it,s time to call Paxman back and see if he can make a difference, cannot think of anything positive about last night. But put all things in to perspective we are still sitting in 7th in the table so it,s not all doom an gloom. Looking forward to Saturday even if it,s a bloody long drive.

I thought we would get beat last night our home form just hasn’t been good enough and Boreham Wood are one of the best teams going forward in this league. I think the team needed that hammering last night so we can learn from the mistakes we made. I didn’t think the atmosphere in the EE stand was to bad the young lads at the back tried there hardest credit where it’s due but will they be at Tranmere I think not😂

We actually haven't played well since Delano's red card at Cheltenham. Well battered at Torquay, off the boil against bottom side Solihull and completely outplayed last night.
Could be a coincidence but, either way, think we'll look stronger up front with him back on Saturday.
Personally I think the players last night worked very hard to relieve some of Oliver and Terry's stress over ground upgrading and they should be applauded for that effort.

You win some and you lose some.
Cheltenham, Macclesfield and Sutton fans probably filled their forums with the same drivel that has been posted on here Facebook or vented on the day of the game when we beat them.
Yes last night we got beat, beaten by a very good boreham side who had options every time a player had the ball, murtagh whipped in some great corners and ran the game, holman was buzzing around all game causing problems with his touch and movement, the 15 and turgott troubled us all game with their pace and power and defensively there were solid especially Stephens.
We seemed to revert to one football with some players trying to take on the world rather than letting the ball do the work, pigs was isolated and when it was humped up to him he'd bring it down look for someone to bring into play but there was no support. Jay was honest in his interview and I think he was hurt by the players and think a few will be given a proverbial kick up the backside.

As well as not being happy with most performances, he must also be considering how we're going to survive the rest of the season with such a thin squad. A couple of injuries, a couple of suspensions, and we can't put a NL team out...

I have absolutely no idea - he may have just been passing by at around 7:30 but for all that he looked scared out of his mind he did actually do well to get around their full back. 2. Yes must have been, he only came on for about 10 minutes I think. (I will treat your linguistic error as a very clever pun BTW).

It was Delano's stupid challenge at Cheltenham that got us into this current mess. I blame him for the last two results! And that's only half tongue in cheek....
