The organisers of the coach should be ashamed of themselves. The only losers here are the fans. Sorry state of affairs. Wow. There has to be a woosh in there somewhere ...

See Tim's thread on this. Basically, Tim, has had the audacity to go on holiday DURING the football season, and no other bugger wants to take over. nws apparently considered it - until he realised just how near the JWW the coach starts from... No need to be like that JDL, NWS lives in herne bay; mudflats and green mist at night, no electricity as yet, and never heard of wifi. He is all but in a different time zone to those of us who lord it in the amber county town 😉

Just to clarify, a couple of seasons ago the club did subsidise the coach travel but this wasn't sustainable and on numerous occasions it was ran at a major loss, as people have already alluded to this is a business and not a charity, people would moan if the club started to subsidise away travel and this began to cut into the money we had to get players in and to pay wages, my final point is in support of Tim not that he needs it, he does a bloody great job sorting coaches out for away travel and does this for no reward, keep up the good work Tim and the rest of IMUSC

I use the coaches very often, and, as there is no coach to Macclesfield because there are no volenteers to run it, I have booked train tickets at quite a reasonable price for this one.... No problem ....

The club did not see the coaches as profitable thus they binned them.
I think some supporters did organise other coaches to games last season but the 'holier than thou' in typical fashion, did not approve for whatever reason.
However I will be on the train to Macclesfield, the prices were really cheap and the train makes light work of the journey compared to the coach anyway.
Macclesfield is one of the most friendliest clubs in the league, can't wait to visit again.

It was the idiots boasting about their wet coach on social media that caused them problems, not any body on here or at the club. They were entirely the cause of their own problems so if all you're gonna do us blame people who had nothing to do with it just keep your moronic whining opinions to yourself. Don't normally resort to personal criticism, but really, your posts on this topic are nothing more than the complaints of a spoilt child who's sense of entitlement has taken a knock.

I'm only giving my opinion, I want to see as many stones fans as possible at away games. It's just a shame this has come about for such a good day out at Macclesfield. The other coaches that were put on last year did help out especially on public holidays they could of made them a success if they had a no alcohol policy, you are correct. I didn't attend any of those coaches, from what I saw they helped out the supporters massively but were unfairly criticised on here for obvious reasons.

No one criticised the fact if the organisation, only the idiocy of allowing alcohol and then boasting about it. Everyone should know the law regarding football coaches, so if you then not only flout it but also boast about doing so, I don't see how anyone can claim that the criticism was unfair or unjustified.

Get out of bed the wrong side Dave? No, I just get fed up with people insulting anyone who's opinion differs to their own. Mrplow obviously is oblivious to the fact that the very use of the phrase "holier than thou" means he's being exactly what he indiscriminately labels a whole section of our support, most of whom he's probably never even met.
