Still surprised Jay signed him and not Tyler Campbell.

Makes sense for him to go on loan with players returning to fitness he is dropping down the order, this way he stays fit should we need him at any time.

Decent move for him rather than sit behind a load of other players. Prefer him to Tom wraight overall though

Still surprised Jay signed him and not Tyler Campbell. Campbell apparently wanted a grand a week which might have had something to do with it

Could wraight not of gone on loan instead. Willard is a much better player and has not been given a chance.

How do you know he is much better if he has not been given a chance 😉 Because he was one of our better players in preseason and looked good against Maidenhead. I think his exclusion from the team has something to do with attitude and mentality. I remember Jay saying earlier in the season that he had to get used to the way we do things at this level. Understandable from a young lad that has come through the youth ranks at Arsenal and Southampton. I'd agree with people on here that he's a better player than Tom Wraight, but then again, that isn't really hard. Still early days for both though. I think that Willard and Campbell were very different players. Campbell was more direct and seemed to have a nose for goal. Willard was a level above him on a technical level. A much better passer of the ball. Given the lack of a decent final ball at times against Dagenham, I think Willard would've been a useful option to bring on from the bench.

Oh yes, always Senna, always. We can't fault him for what he has done so far can we?! Even the doubters have stopped doubting! 😆
