Do you write the headlines for the OS?? Their "Hines in the can" headline had me reaching for the metaphorical bucket!
Speaking as someone whose actual surname* is somewhat close to Hines, I have suffered a LONG lifetime of simmilar 'jokes'...
(*My real name is not A János Daubney lábai.)

I daresay Garth Paxman will call him Beans. Or Beanz. Having a surname beginning Egg, and living next door to the Bacons in Kingswood, I got all the cooked breakfast jokes at Ulcombe School in the 70s...

I've known two Joe Kings and one poor sod stuck with the name John Thomas. How do parents not realise what they are doing to their kids?!

On the subject of parents not realising what they are doing with kids' names.
My aunt Jessie married a man called John Jarlett. They then gave all four of their kids names beginning with 'J' (and no middle names) - even the ruddy Minah bird was called Jackie! No doubt they thought it was funny, but it caused chaos (or worse) when letters arrived addressed to J Jarlett...

Shouldn't this be in the "There's only one J in Jay" thread?

But we have a right not to rate Wraight, right? Chances are someone will slate Wraight before it gets late, mate.
