Hello redarmy. I see on your forum someone is asking about programmes and ticket stubs. If you are a member, could you let them know our club shop advertises programmes via mail order. www.maidstoneunited.co.uk/product/aldershot-town-programme/Failing that, if they have run out, I have a somewhat creased programme I would be happy to post if supplied with a name and address (can't help with the ticket stub). Don't think we issue proper tickets, so unless he's a really fanatical hopper they're not something you keep as a memento.

Morning all, I just want to put out a message to say cheers to the Maidstone supporter who stopped his car and also the traffic so thankfully nobody else was involved on Tuesday night on the M20 London-bound on Tuesday evening. It all happened so quickly however the general consensus was that my car hit a pothole/bump in the road and a tyre blew, causing the car to go across three lanes and bounce of the hard shoulder barrier before going across the three lanes again and ending up coming to a stop after smashing back into the central reservation. Incredible how we didn't take anybody else out in the process and that we all managed to get out of what remained of my car walking and talking with only a few cuts, bruises and aches. Anyway, I didn't catch his name as it was all a bit of a shock but I think he drives an Audi and I just wanted to say thanks, you're a top man. If he's on here/somebody knows who he is get him to drop me a message on here as if he's coming to the return game in December he'll need to leave the car at home and get the train/coach as there's five very grateful lads who owe him at least one pint each. Apologies to any of you who got home a lot later than expected too, best of luck for the season. Hi chaps, afraid I'm the Audi driver. Glad you are OK and it was only bumps / cuts, more than glad to have helped.
Didn't see the crash and nothing worse in the cold light of day, pulled up behind you seconds after and it was pretty horrific, and you were pretty shaken quitely rightly, being stranded in lane three with a car missing a wheel in the dead of night is not much fun.
Disappointed that the Police took so long to arrive, over 25 minutes I think, I did ring them Thursday, and the only answer was they had more pressing needs at that time, although I think yours was pretty pressing albiet minor injuries as it turned out . Also got a ticking off for stopping live traffic!
Will definately be at the away game, and happy to catch up and have a couple of festive pints with you all, however as the game is during the festive season on top of that may I request three points as I leave the ground
Top man, it's very much appreciated from all of us. Can't believe you got a ticking off for that, considering half of my car was all across the lanes if traffic had continued it would have no doubt been far worse with other cars involved! Again, very much appreciated and we can't thank you enough. I'll pop you a PM with my number and we'll sort out a few beers nearer the time kind sir. Cheers to everybody else for the posts... and regarding the ticket stub/programme I'm not on our forum but I believe somebody has seen this and mentioned it.

Any visiting fans collecting ticket stubs are going to be seriously disappointed by our 'cloakroom' tickets!
The fact that they have 'adult' printed on them is a constant source of amusement to my daughter as well - "are you sure they've given you the right ticket?" every game, without fail...

I've often wondered why they bother; only a serious ground hopper would be disappointed not to get one. Maybe an accounting thing to prove income to the taxman, or ensure turnstile operators don't pocket any cash. The increasing use of e-ticketing will mean your stub is an A4 piece of paper with a barcode, printed at home. Definitely the way to go to eliminate cash handling.

Good to hear no one was hurt. That double crash and crossing all three lanes twice must have been terrifying. I have been in similar accidents twice*, so I know what it feels like - terrifying, but also weirdly dreamike, as there's nothing you can do and you're just hoping to get out of it alive. (*Weird for someone who hardly ever drives - but then perhaps that's why I don't!) Oh what a surprise JDL has done the same as someone else if we had a dinosaur in our garden he would of been breeding them for years.Life is not all about YOU JDL

Or I can get you a life - it sounds like you might need one.

NWS hat do you mean you know im a thick shit He was referring to you having no life so I suggested you might want to look at how often he is on this website and ask about his life. It's very boring watching countdown all day in his care home, so the forum gives him a workout.
