Smoke bombs and fascist flags. A small minority projecting their version of football onto Maidstone United.

Suppose you are one of the twats then? Go and support another club instead of ruining it for those of us that want to just come and support our team. So is every "younger fan" a "mindless idiot" No, not at all. But those turning up with flares etc are.

If the reports I have heard of behaviour in and out of the ground and on public transport are true, then I should think the name of our club will be mud very soon. And when we start getting treated like **** at future away games by police/stewards they'll be the first ones to complain. Flares are banned at football grounds due to there being large numbers of people all crowded together and the smoke not only obscures the view of other fans but is also a problem for people who could have a reaction to breathing in the toxins and when you do this in a crowded area you can struggle to breath, plus the stench lots of people around me on Saturday were complaining of the smell that had been given off by the flare there. I did see a picture of the burn mark left on our new stand, what motivation does this give Terry and Oliver to try and improve our ground any further when we are just going to trash it??? Last season at the long distance away games we had a great reputation for being a great bunch of fans and were made to feel very welcome and invited into usually home fan only clubhouse's to drink before the game, if these idiotic actions continue then we will be banned from these clubhouses and all of us will be tarnished as trouble. One of the best things about non league football is being able to have a drink and chat with the other teams fans before the game, if some of our fans keep up their current actions then non of us will be able to enjoy this as we will all be tarred with the same brush

The younger fans I speak to just seem to find it 'a bit of fun' and 'add to the atmosphere' They are not mindless hooligans and definitely don't mean anybody harm Jay Saunders warning note today cuts the right note He accepts they are genuine enough supporters ok and appreciates the great support But smoke bombs, like them or not, will get the club in trouble So please no more !

I travel to most away games and we have a great reputation and are often welcomed into home bars, but if this continues we won't be, which is a real shame.

They know it's wrong but continue to do it, and posts on the Facebook page from a certain supporter pretty much admitting to being the one responsible just shows he knows it's wrong and is gloating that he continues getting away with it. We know who it is and so do the club, ban him from the games for the greater good of rest of us fans who just want to turn up and enjoy another great season of national league football!

I'm confident that some people know exactly who they are but wont snitch. When the smoke bomb went off on Saturday, a couple of stewards/security blokes came storming into the stand but ultimately did nothing. One of them spent the rest of the match in the upstairs portacabin scowling towards the stand, again, to no effect. Short of installing CCTV in the stand which is likely fairly expensive, at a minimum, the club should put stewards at the back of the stand to at least keep an eye on these cretins. Even better, stick someone in under cover and hope to catch them red handed. Mate just f**k off FYI I intend complaining to the club about the embarrassing flags being the wrong colour and obscuring my view. I've also informed Leyton Orient of the high chance of someone trying to get a smoke bomb into the ground so hopefully they'll be conducting bag searches. And finally, I've contacted the management of Society Rooms regarding a load of scrotes who sit in their beer garden pre-match without a drink as they don't look old enough to get served. Not that I'm suggesting any of the above has anything to do with you, of course.

Skydweller, are you really as boring as you sound, why the hell are you complaining to the club about the flags obscuring your view, why dont you just MOVE AWAY from them. And I bet the person you spoke to at Orient probably put the phone down an thought "What a bell-end" you really do your self no favours mate, if you are put off by the flags or the flares or indeed by all the noisy fans, why dont you stand away from them. Personally I have enjoyed the atmospheres created by the fans at both home an away games.

Our stewards are contain a number of individuals who are not up to the job ... in reality they seem more interested in standing and pointing / using their mic as if some major incident is about to happen ... then we have the knobs in the control cabin ... and then don't get me started on that dick with head steward on his coat...
We as a whole never cause problems home or away in fact are welcomed at all grounds... the guy letting off the flares knows the risks if he wants to be run that risk then so be it...i saw maybe 50 people immediately around the flare as it went off last night so its not exactly as said we need a undercover operation to address the individual.
I personally don't have any big problem but can see why others do but the club is able to act and chooses not to... thats my bigger concern.

I'm not sure if you ar joking but in the event you are being serious, let me tell you shit like this will only make the divide (which there clearly already is) even bigger. And it's nice to know you drink in weatherspoons before a game, maybe you'd like to say hello next time, you know without your keyboard

I'm assuming you are referring to me? In which case, it's pretty ironic that I actually didn't do it. Instead of throwing your accusations around maybe you should find another hobby.

On a lighter note I did chuckle on the way out of the ground last night an saw a Maidstone sticker on the police van parked there, just a pity I didn,t have my phone to picture it.
