When we played Ebbsfleet 2 seasons ago- during the first-half, they ran at us, had the possession and worried us supporters. We were going to loose. Then, 2nd half- we got one in and they fell apart, their fans left early etc.
Last night was a reverse-roles match.
Shame, it killed of some songs- He did cheer-up.
Ive not left that ground in such a sombre mood before as last nights slow exit from Carpark C.
We've beaten them twice there, we will do it again. Just not right now with a new side/Team.

I thought as many have said, a very even game for 60 mins, but a costly mistake by Seth who I thought had played very well up to that point changed the match. We seemed in the second half just to play long ball up top and just wasn't working. Shame we lost but beaten by a good side, coulson looked dangerous for them going forward on the wing. Finney was outstanding again let's hope he is not out for long.

I saw it the same way as Fleetphil - 2 top drawer saves from Ash more - the first from Mr Lewis in the first half and then from that downward header early in the second kept it 0-0 ( although apart from a couple of balls across our 6 yard box, I dont remember anything else if note). When we took the lead, we suddenly found our confidence and you never looked like getting back - especially after our well worked 2nd goal. Horrible tackle from Mr Lewis thoroughly deserved red to top things off for you. the save in the first few minutes from Piggott's free kick was a Worldie.

Thought the same as others - first hour looked comfortable, creating a few chances the best of which fell to Stuart Lewis. Seth made a mistake and then never looked like getting a goal. I think Josh Hare missed an interception which led to the second but never looked like getting back into it after the first. Sending-off was, I think, a bit silly from Stuart - the game was over, there was no need to challenge on the half way line and now he misses a game.
Will be interesting to see what the line-up will be next - not convinced DSY wide on the right actually works; he's just too far from Pigott and if you want anyone on the end of crosses, he's one of them. Jack came on but looked a little lost but the game was running away by then.
Others - Finney looked very good; he's a proper defender who can tackle and makes the right choices. Seth defensively was very good until the mistake. Pigott looks sharper than last year but needs help at times.
Ebbsfleet didn't look anything other than ordinary until the goal but then stepped-up and you can see that they have a lot of ball-players who look comfortable.

Yes, just realised - he got one game for the sending off at D&R last season but that was two yellows.

Standby for opinions not facts...
Was extremely impressed with Finney, playing well below his level with us! Was not impressed with new boys Wraight, Willard or Reason, but it's the first time I've seen them play so reckon they will improve. Playing Lewis, Prestedge and Reason in the middle does not allow any real penetration down the middle hence the over the top balls we tried all night! For me Paxman needed to be on from the start.
I know from last season when Coylie And Lokko suddenly stopped leaking goals after Magnus showed up he kept the same back four! Clearly done that again keeping Hare at Centre back! For me he didn't look comfortable and only an excellent Finney kept us looking solid. With a league centre half in Wynter fit I think he should have been on from the start, maybe try Hare at right back where he plays better and leave Seth out. Never been a huge fan of Seth as he seems to have at least one Big balls up in him per game.
I hope Loza returns very soon as we miss his runs at the defence and also hope Horst shows something similar on his return to fitness. Love Pigott and Yorke, but need other options when over the top balls to slower tall strikers fails.
No reason to panic and we should pick up points soon, just felt a little sick when that "fat Pikey" scored and then wobbled off to his faithfall fans who facilitate his pastry based snack obsession on a weekly basis 🙄
