Why should they? Dagenham is nearer to them, and also to his home, and they're among the favourites for the title so he's more likely to have some success there.
As a Chelsea fan you should know all about the technique of loaning out young players!
I'm disappointed he's not here, but don't need to go all MI5 over something that's more than likely as simple as it seems.

What? Signing a young player and loaning him out for more game time. Happens all over the place, and I'm sure there's plenty of times we've done it ourselves. So why not loan him back to us? This does appear a bit dodgy to say the least!! Exactly. Would've been perfectly happy for them to sign him but loan him back to us. If there was nothing to hide, that would have been the deal. Something fishy here.

I think there is more to it but we will see in due course I guess or maybe not. I presume Lokko was aware of this when he signed for them?

He will have had a pay rise to go to Stevenage, and you'd imagine Dagenham would've been able to contribute more towards it than we could.
We may even have been offered him back but decided against it.

Could well be wide if the mark but I think Dagenham wanted him all along but obv had no chance of getting him so this little deal has been worked out between them. Bet he ends up staying with them.

Bit of a kick in the teeth but at the end of the day, I guess it does make sense for him to be loaned out to a side playing on grass as well as a team battling at the top of the table.
He would have definitely been aware of this plan when he was signed though - they wouldn't have just sprung this on him.
Any conspiracy theories are wide of the mark. It's Lokko not Neymar.

Let's not forget that Lokko signed a two year contract for us which contained a get out clause if a football league club wanted to sign him. That would have effected the transfer fee Stevenage paid for him and would have been a lot less than Dagenham would have paid if they signed him full time.It would be interesting if Dagenham have made enquiries about Lokko in the past as i certainly don't expect Kevin Lokko will ever play for Stevenage.

Let's look at the positives here, in my humble opinion Lokko is not a Huge loss! Yes we are short on defenders, however I remember commenting during games that his passing and distribution was pretty bad and in the first half of last season we leaked goal after goal with him a mainstay at centre half! When he returns to the Gallagher Jamar will know exactly how to run him ragged which he probably perfected in training! Alex the new lad on paper is a better defender and given the option of either to play with Magnus I would not pick lokko. Before people say I've not seen Alex play, yes I realise that, but at a similar age their career paths are not on a level. We also have a very capable back up in Hare

I don't think this should be our abiding memory of Kevin Lokko.Maybe we should remember him for what he did on the pitch e.g. Macclesfields first goal up at Moss Rose last season.

We may even have been offered him back but decided against it. Much as admire your frustrating determination always to play Devil's Avocet, do you really think we'd have turned down the chance to have him back on loan? And something for the conspiracy theorists to chew on - unless, of course, Jay had already got a better player lined up and 'losing' Lokko was just an unexpected bit of icing on the cake?

I don't know, if they parted on good terms, then no. Otherwise, then of course. Nobody on here has been party to any of the conversations between clubs and player, so to draw conclusions and blame it all on some conspiracy seems a bit premature and/or over the top to say the least.
