Fosters (I think) was once described in an advert by that Crocodile Dundee bloke as being the "amber nectar".

I,m waiting for the punch-line about how long they have been followers, etc etc Just on sheer numbers, I would imagine that many/most of the main standers were not following in the Kent League days. They certainly could not have been following in the County League days. Is that because there was rarely seats to sit on? And not much more stands to stand in come to think if it! "(Insert manager name)'s black and yellow army" clap clap clap clap..... Nope, for me it just don't have the same ring to it.

And then, after getting up into the KL (even having done FL grounds with the stones in years gone by), Tun Wells in our first game (away) felt like the nou camp with terracing at one end and almost full length stand with seating down one side!! Won't mention the other end and side.

Won't mention the other end and side. Ha ha...so true. Yet, in reality, the terracing was so bad that the one and only game a friend of mine ever came to in the reformation years saw him fall down a hole when we celebrated the last minute equaliser, from the penalty that never was, and do his Achilles tendon. He was off work for 4 months! Ian Court, Court, Court Ian Court, Court, Court
