Meant to add that this is in respect of the Lincoln and Tranmere games obviously 😁

Not exactly a surprise.
We're safe, Lincoln will probably win the league tomorrow, and Maidstone with a 12:15 KO for a meaningless match is asking a lot of Tranmere supporters - especially with the play-offs on their minds.

Good job we didn't listen to opposition fans who suggested switching the games to Priestfield.

This will happen now with most of the all ticket matches. We clearly have a couple of hundred fans who attend matches at the spur of the moment and unless it's a big FA Cup match won't buy tickets in advance. If we didn't have to segregate these matches and make them all ticket we know both games would have 3,500- 4,000 watching instead of the 2,500-,3,000 that actually will.

Ridiculous making the games ticket only with our increased capacitty.I don't have time to buy one on general sale, I work well away from Maidstone. Me and the other two I travel to the games with will miss out I am afraid, so will the pie hut and the bar! The Club has had to try and make business decisions that they have not had to make before because of this brilliant position we find ourselves in and in this instance it is a mistake, a shame, but I forgive them.I have thoroughly enjoyed this season and look forward to the next one, paying on the gate of course!

Can we not sort something for people like you where you get others to buy a ticket for you then meet you before the game? No one would advocate touting or breaking rules but when people can't physically get to the ticket office I can't see the harm.

I remember a few weeks ago suggesting there is no way the Lincoln and Tranmere games would sell out, only to be told by someone on the forum (can't remember who) that they certainly would sell out!

Well if Lincoln don't win the title tomorrow, i think we can count on a lot of tickets suddenly being brought by northerners.

I know 9 people who only pay at the turnstiles as travel a long way to home games and can't get to buy tickets as in person. I agree unless it's a big cup game that all ticket games will never hit capacity.

The all ticket fiasco could cost the club up to 1,000 paying customers
fact is the matches would need to attract hundreds of extra spectators who hardly ever watch the Stones, in order to fill the stadium
it is such a pain in neck for working blokes to find the time to get to the stadium to buy a ticket on a non match day
hard core supporters will find a way but occasional supporters and maybe supporters, not a chance
shame because the stadium won't fill up, the club are less likely to attract new fans and miss out on a few grand worth of sales
