Had a chat with someone at the club and apparently he won't play today. Might be back on Monday.

May be the master of the obvious, but Huey has been the key signing this season. He and Prestedge have done the dirty work, run all day, linked up with the "creative" players, allowing them to create more chances(and FINISH them). Not to be overlooked is the improved protection of the back four. Even though he's injured, his play gave his teammates the confidence to keep up their tremendous form. Hoping he returns soon.

Prestedge was my motm today. Immense in midfield today and assumed leadership with Lewis missing. Bromleys loss our gain

Careful, RS, nick and jdl haven't worked that out yet. Personally, I think Prestedge has been the best of the signings but have to say that together Lewis and Prestedge have transformed our season. To think I poured scorn on them after Solihull away.

Yes, which just goes to show you are not infallible don't know where you get the notion from that I don't rate Prestedge's contribution to Stones defensive efforts simply not true

Ditto this. Also the hard work and the goals of The Pig too - he and Jamar have really added quality to our attack and upped our threat to the opposition. The Pig is simply several classes above the likes of the now forgotten LEM and others.

We won without him. Don't need him. Send him back.
Typical Ders rubbish signing.

The Pig is simply several classes above the likes of the now forgotten LEM and others. With The Pig it was possible to see what was coming, even at Solihull. There was a moment in the game when he ran to a ball and ducked under it (right on the byline) before lifting his head and flicking it back into the path of Loza(?) to give him a shooting chance 12 yards out. It was a moment of sheer awareness and ability.

Yes, which just goes to show you are not infallible don't know where you get the notion from that I don't rate Prestedge's contribution to Stones defensive efforts simply not true It is probably your conclusion that our defence is not good enough despite the fact that since the start of Feb we have conceded goals at a rate that would give us one of the better defensive records in the division. You have based that opinion on the whole season rather than look at what has happened since Prestedge and Lewis have strengthened the midfield and thus failed to see that much of our defensive problems were from lack of protection by the midfield, which Prestedge and Lewis subsequently changed.

Give him some credit, Nick. Men are never usually any kind of right so the fact he is half right is some achievement! 😊
