So Southport are next on the scene after such a positive result and performance on Tuesday. Real chance to put some distance between us and them. Can we keep up our little run or will they spoil the party?
I cannot attend but I will predict a 1-1 draw and a crowd of 2256

Form says easy win for us.
But no Flish, no Lewis, DSY's last game, both teams desperately need 3 points - anything can happen!
And the first game I will have gone to since September expecting a win - if that doesn't doom it, nothing will...
But bollox to all that - 3-0 to the Stones, 2,450, standing ovation for DSY.

Depends on whether you mean official or actual I'm going for an official attendance of 2,150 Scoreline of 1-1 I was under the impression it's our current capacity. The actual 'capacity' figure will be lower, as I doubt that Southport will take the whole of their allocation (assuming the games is segregated).

If the players and the club sees his post , they might wonder why he bothers to support us or why he doesn't go and attend more games at Herne Bay !! Maybe it has to do because he can't afford to attend and won't be able to comment on Stones live and get a freebee entrance to the ground !?!?.

As a father of 5, I fully understand how this can affect attendance at home games.

In your case you are also forgiven as you must have been too busy on match days as you had to wash all those Terrys' nappies !!

"A MUST WIN MATCH FOR SOUTHPORT"
MATCH PREVIEW | Maidstone United v Southport (from a Southport perspective)
Without a win in seven games in all competitions, the feeling as Southport head into Saturday’s match at Maidstone United is that this is a must win encounter if the Sandgrounders are to stay in the Vanarama National League.
It would be no exaggeration to say that Tuesday night was catastrophic, with Braintree Town, Maidstone, Guiseley and Woking all picking up surprise wins, whilst bottom of the table York City managed a point against leaders Lincoln City.
The only slight positive from the night was that Southport didn’t have the chance to lose, and therefore didn’t lose further ground.
Maidstone’s victory at Dagenham & Redbridge was the biggest shock of all. That said, how often is it the case that a side exerts themselves for a heroic victory in midweek only to put in a drained, flat performance at the weekend? Southport are a prime example of this, following the victory at Barrow in January a rotten run followed from which they are yet to emerge two months later.
This is the prime moment to end the barren spell. The Port have twelve games to step up and fight for survival.
There are no new arrivals to accommodate this week, and the likes of Lindon Meikle and Jim Stevenson have both had a couple of games to settle.
Louis Almond is the most recent arrival, and even though the squad is barely recognisable to the one he left in September, he has been in this situation in a Southport shirt for the last two seasons and should know what survival entails.
It really is now or never for Southport. Chances are running out as the weeks go by, and with a difficult finish to the season scheduled points must be accrued before it is too late.

I cannot attend but I will predict a 1-1 draw and a crowd of 2256 I'd love to think we can boss the game against inferior opposition and come away with a resounding win, but that would be a first for this season. So much as I might hope for more I'd settle for a point, in some ways this is the most challenging game we have left. Of course we squashed Torquay a few weeks back, but that was at a stage when we were all (Supporters and I think players) so depressed that we'd made ourselves the underdogs. A win today would be massive in my book and would really set us up for the rest of the season. [We're still not out of the title chase by the way ;-)]
