and keep away from the grown ups ..they're a bad influence Yes names and grown-ups to avoid. Tim - epicentre of trouble - has been known to smash advertising hoardings Trolley - Likes to chuck vitriol and abuse at his own players until he manages to get a similar response from the player. Ant - Starts up sweary songs about his fellow supporters StoneColdRuss - Causes singing disturbances in hostelries - although confines this to the west of the country Dave U - Likes to throw a bit of abuse the ref's way - mostly home games Islandstone - The clue is in the name Toonarmy - Northern Neanderthal - confines most poor behaviour for Essex Ob1 - Scarf waving menace who will have your eye out at 150 paces Frenchstone - Throws Fanta around on the terrace La femme de Vic Jobson - Vitriol and abuse to refs (on live broadcasts no less) Jimmy Reed - aka aggrostone - abuses goalkeepers Historystone - our London Bench breaking specialist I'm sure there's more but beware. It's a jungle in that Gallystad I remember that Tim fella at ramsgate away. Poor, poor fence.

So you still think it's acceptable to let off smoke bombs and throw hats on the pitch? I must admit you create one hell of an atmosphere but things like this let you down. I think we should throw hats onto the area of play when one of our players scores a hattrick like they do in ice hockey

I'm sure we could have at least a 21 page argument about whether the top of the goal net is technically 'on the pitch', anyway...
As to the 'youngsters' argument - are we serious??
Where are the supporters of tomorrow going to come from if we don't encourage youngsters to watch us now??
They may be irritating with all their bloody energy and youthfulness, but they are the future.

Every young people should be encouraged to come to our games. I have been slaughtered for saying what I witness by young fans from another club , namely Dover fans that behaved inappropriately on the train that I was travelling in for the match against Chester !. Please accept my explanation of the events that I witnessed with my own eyes and ears . These youths ... not from Maidstone but from Dover sang defamatory songs about our club ... Maidstone United ... These same youths were most probably picked up on CCTV cameras in the town centre ... These youths then attended the game at the Gallagher Stadium and were spoken to by the Police at the ground and the senior stewards. Their behaviour there was very arrogant and not what this friendly family club should want coming to our ground. These youths are mentioned in the Dover forum in a link entitled " idiot young Dover fans" ... Their club doesn't shower them with pride , but instead wish that they weren't associated with them. Maidstone United young supporters are the future of our club , I totally and wholeheartedly support that notion ... Not young fans from another club who behave disrespectfully towards our club !... Is chanting :" I want to go home , Maidstone is a shit hole ! Or other insulting songs about our club what people find acceptable ! ... I doubt it . In all honesty I would rather stand amongst a thousand young Maidstone young supporters to sing and cheer our players all game long than stand next to some boring old fart that looks up his phone to see how a Premier league club is doing !. C'mon You Stones! ... C'mon Young supporters ! I love it when they sing and go wild when we score or win a game. Oh my days! Maidstone fans are loud but do lack some decent songs sometimes. With the famous what do we think about x from the town end and the like, oh no, they were singing songs about maidstone. Snowflake.

I don't recall anything more than C'mon Margate or C'mon the Gate.

Well just to draw a line under this thread take a look at the photos of the boys celebrating with Delano last night sums up thier passion and commitment to this club. They were excellent and I even witnessed one of the " mindless idiots " opening a door for a senior lady Daggers supporter. Credit to them.

Sad I didnt but the 21 pounds put me off. Margate songs? No idea. Not up to date. All the best songs are in the Ryman though. The national league is a bit of a creative desert.

You missed a scintillating night's football. We were utterly brilliant from the first to the last minute. Our two goals were pure quality and we won despite the ref disallowing a perfectly good goal and sending off Lewis with ten to go. I advise watching the highlights because this was definitely one of the best performances I've seen from boys in amber 'n' black. I know what you mean about Ryman. My favourite song, for inventiveness, that we ever had was the skintstones one when we had nothing and were rubbish.

Worth the money then You wont get much of a chance to bring out that skintstones song in the future. Up the stones
