Just been talking to the chaps at Braintree The game will be segreggated We will not be able to use their clubhouse either before or after the game due to segregation and it's size! However, there are two designated away pubs The Orange Tree in Cressing Road CM7 3PH (almost opposite the ground) The Pub in East Street CM7 3JJ (10min walk and has a big screen for live sport) It was mentioned during the conversation (which was very helpful and polite) that their security were aware of problems at Dover and Bromley with flares! Be prepared for bags to be searched!
For the sake of the good reputation of Maidstone United supporters I hope that everyone enjoys the day and behaves themselves

Thanks TIm , one minor concern is that our self appointed supporters special constable, no names mentioned , I believe will not be attending , so I do hope that all people attending are true supporters of Maidstone as I feel without this capable and likeable fella we have to look after ourselves that much more on these dangerous excursions to foreign lands, I say Bon Voyage to all travelling of which I will be one .

This is the email I had from their Chairman Hi Tim,
Thanks for your e-mail. I will ask our Safety Officer Kevin Christmas to come back to you about coach parking.
The game will be segregated and only those supporters in the designated 'home' part of the ground will be able to gain access to our clubhouse.
However we do recommend: The Pub, East Street, Braintree, Essex CM7 3JW (tel: 01376 741604) for visiting supporters - it's a five minute walk from the stadium.
Admission prices are as per Category 'B' on our website: www.braintreetownfc.org.uk/tickets.html.
If you need any further information, please come back to me.
Regards - Lee
Lee Harding, Chairman & Chief Executive, Braintree Town Football Club Limited, The IronmongeryDirect Stadium, off Clockhouse Way, Braintree, Essex CM7 3DE E: braintreeTFC@aol.comI then had a phone call from their Safety Officer, who confirmed it will be segregated and also told me about the Orange Tree I can do no more!

Only if we've relocated to Scotland, or changed codes and started playing rugby.

Bags will be searched!
I wonder how many flare-setting-off tearaways carry bags?

Looks like it might be pissing down at kick off and during most of the game. The pitch is probably going to cut-up quite badly making it a right old slog for the players. Anyone know if there is any undercover facilities for the away supporters, or is it like Southport?

Will they be employing a snatch squad for those who decide to use the home facilities?

BBC weather says heavy cloud but no rain.
But, if it does rain, we get wet - no cover at all.

Designated home and away pubs? It sounds like a premier league game.
