Oh dear. Another defeat. I tried to console myself with the second half at Herne Bay but they got thumped 4-1 by Tooting, despite being the better side in the second half

For me lacked drive in the midfield today. Lewis and Prestege looked laboured and even Pax was missing something. Lee shouldn't be beaten on that post with a wall that big. Acheampong looked shakey as did a lot of our general passing. On a positive note Sam-yorke looked good when he came on and Pigott was pretty good all game. The great escape still possible just need some magic dust or some real luck.

Better second half but well beaten. Scores elsewhere were good but can't rely on that.

Overall they weren't much better than us except at taking their chances. Coyle should have scored a couple. Just a shame our best chances fell to a defender. Probably worth ditching the small guy, big guy combination up top and trying Piggott and Sam-Yorke together as that looked a decent combination decent combination for the last 15 mins.

Never looked like scoring, never looked like keeping a clean sheet. They didn't need to have more than two shots on target. That's well beaten in my book but you, of course, can think differently.

I would never promote cheating, but teams in this league seem to be able to play the ref much better then us! We never seem to get a good ref at the Gallagher, but is that because other teams just play that part of the game better. Gone are the days of Big tackles and rough housing players. I think changing to three training sessions a week next season will be too late. I presume it can't happen this season due to contracts etc, but we have a talented bunch of players, surely the missing link is the amount of training we get...?

No, well beaten is getting stuffed. We didn't. Coyle's header, anywhere other than straight at the keeper and it's a goal, plus a couple of goalmouth scrambles and hitting the bar, so it's not true to say we never looked like scoring. Worgs to blame for their first. Why line up the wall to cover one side of the goal and then stand the same side? Defending woeful for the second but it was a hell of a strike. Also, the exodus from pretty much all parts of the ground when their second went in was pretty shameful.
